    Aye
I'm no fan of his (and actually hardly ever use Ryanair) but my point was that everyone knows what it is, so you shouldn't book it if you need luggage or good reliability (I'd use them for a weekend away if suited but not to go to a wedding for example) or expect anything but a basic bus service (with the same level of reliability!)

I use Jet2 a lot and they're great. I did hear they are one of the few that employs their own baggage handlers abroad which is why you get your bags pretty efficiently

I go with Tui every March and that seems reliable too

We once booked return flights to Barcelona for 1p each way including tax!
4p for me and Mrs Tash there and back

I gave them 5p and told them to keep the change <laugh>

I'm not defending him, just pointing out that the **** doesn't a flying ****. His flights are full of the same type of customers that Sky TV has, they whine like **** about fixture changes but continue coughing up. That said, I'm a ****. :emoticon-0138-think

Ryan air were the only provider for where I wanted to go so I had to use them
    Or should I not go?
Is that ok with you? Or am I a whining **** for doing a trip I want to do
    Your comparison doesn’t make sense

and some people pay for sky because they can’t get to games through illness etc
Again yours is a stupid comparison
    And ye you’re a ****
    With an annoying ****ing emoji

You seem to have missed the bit where I said O'Leary doesn't give a flying ****. If a business made a decision that bothered me that much they wouldn't get my money.
As for Sky*, they'll be lots of their customers that go to matches, pay for Sky and still whine about fixture changes.
Bottom line of course is that it's your choice how you spend your money, whining ****. That is all. :emoticon-0138-think

    * Sky have never had a penny of my money.

Spain for a week at the end of the month to look after the grandkids then spend a few days in Scotland in May. On the trip to Bonny Scotland she can put as much luggage in the car boot as she wants, will have to take it out herself or it will stay there. Walking boots, change of underwear and a few jumpers for norm… job done!!! Asda plastic bag will be fine….

News today of young single female backpacker in USA getting locked up for visa infringement, working as a domestic for free board and lodging.
Of course the media are making a mountain out of this, over zealous immigration control, Trump, poor young girl and so on.

Many news stories are making it sound like she was arrested at the home of where she worked but one claimed she had left US border control but Canada refused her entry so she tried to re enter US and it was at this point she was arrested. Obviously more to this than the first breaking news story. Oh and now the father is claiming she has already been held for 14 days.

Moral to the story, make sure your passport, Esta visa and story are all in order when travelling to the USA

Update on the Spain trip, oh my ****ing god the weather changed, it’s been like a scene from twister… everything about this country is full on, from the people, the climate and the countryside. They have dart firing caterpillars, what the **** is all that about….dangerous for animals such as dogs and give humans a nasty illness. Here are the little ****ers, they march in lines, leader at the front, lazy bastard at the back. No guesses for where norm would be lol. Nearly stood on these twats…

It is being pointed out that she broke visa rules by working for lher lodging by helping out at the place where she was staying which is illegal in Canada, as well as the USA and leads to withdrawal of the visa. Same in Australia as can be seen on yhe programme about Australian customs.
Nothing to do with Trump except for those with TDS.

It's not illegal to work for your board, you just need to declare it when you apply for your visa, which presumably she didn't do.

Regardless of whatever rule she inadvertently or knowingly broke, locking her up in a detention centre for over ten days is ridiculously excessive.

I don't for a minute think she is the first one to fall foul of the rules, my questions and suspicions are around why does her story make headline news and is there more to it than we are being told which may justify why she has been held for 14 days.

You need a work visa. She broke the rules. Not everywhere is as soft as we are.
