He’s up there with Poveda in the hideous signing category. Thankfully most of the others in that window have been a success

Great thread again @RTB. PNE are indeed a decent side. I think the fact they have a cup game and the chance for glory may squash their appetite to get stuck in, make tackles, risk suspensions etc.

I dont think it will be a pushover but I would expect us to win. Im going 3-1 to the lads.

Regardless of who RLB puts out for this game it would be a huge disappointment not to get the 3 points.
I will be fairly sensible and stick with 3-1 although I do fancy us to get more. Would like to have seen Mayenda & Wilson together in the middle but if Roberts is out I cannot see that happening. Just hope we go more attack minded than hoping to defend a slender lead.

Cheers RTB. Another fab write up.

Missing this one as on my way down to Cheltenham for a couple of days but will find some way of watching it. Went to both away games at Preston so hoping for a better result than those two.

I thought Caden Kelly was our best attacking player after Tom Watson last season , they often played in the same line up with Kelly right and Watson left. They played some lovely football way ahead of anything I have seen so far this season, sadly Kelly looks well down the pecking order., which is a real shame imo.

He did look good Clocky. There must be something lacking in Kelly's game that we can't see. Lacking a touch of pace or can't cope that well against physical players maybe?

    Cheers Kirky, very kind mate.

I'm being picked up, at Prestonpans, by @Hettonista who driving down with his son.

I'll find out what his plans are but that sounds good.

As this is a home game, against a bottom half side with little to play for, I can't see Jobe playing.

Browne will be desperate to play and he's shown signs of what a good player he is recently.

I think it'll be him and Dan Neil with Rigg further forward.

I thought we missed Le Fée on Saturday and think Aleksic will get on if we're winning well at half time.

Just read an article on the BBC Football website 're the battle for top two in the Championship and we don't get a mention, 3 horse race which is fine by me.
Takes the pressure off our lads to just keep going out and doing our thing even though I think it's a bit disrespectful to our young team.

Would agree with that. We could win the next four or five in a row and still be outside the top two.

Whole lot of work to do before the end of the season if we are going to go go up.

Permanent sick note that guy another Rodwell send him packing, to slow to pass and spoils the quick attacks.
