CREDIT: Neil Thomson The Beta Band have shared details of a UK and North American comeback tour, set to kick off later this year. Find ticket details below, as well as info on a rerelease of ‘The Three E.P.’s’. The news comes after the band began dropping hints of an upcoming announcement last month, which left fans convinced that a reunion was on the way. These included posts of the members, past performances and photos of a touring case washing up on shore, as well as a new BlueSky account and links where fans could sign up to receive new information about the Scottish group. Now, the band – comprised of Steve Mason (singer/guitar), Richard Greentree (bass), John Maclean (samples/keyboard) & Robin Jones (drums) – have confirmed that they are back together and will be hitting the road towards the end of the year. This marks the first time they have played together since they disbanded in 2004, and their first shows since they took to the stage at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room on December 4 of that year. The first run of tour dates kick off in September, and include stops in Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and Nottingham. It then picks up again in October, rounding off the UK shows with a stop at the Roundhouse in London and the Albert Hall in Manchester. please log in to view this image The Beta Band 2025 tour poster,
Will Toledo is back! Been a long wait, but this track is outstanding.... It's a long one, so get comfy...the bassline when it steps up a gear after 4 minutes is proper dirty fuzz The video....well, watch out when you head into the woods with a beautiful woman!
Must be 'Let's release a ****ing long song" week... Latest single by Swans coming in at just under 20 minutes long! Really pleased about this as I"d heard they were thinking about quitting...hopefully get to see them before they do
Violator day on 6music today....celebrating 35 years of Depeche Modes album fron 1990, with only tracks from that year on all day and all the tracks from that album.... What a trip down memory lane
Bit of a panic, couldn't get on the pre-sale yesterday, then couldn't get anything at 10 this morning when they went on sale....thought it had sold it in seconds...went back on ten minutes later and got some - phew....both dates sold out now!
We've got tickets to see her end of April...but Mrs SM has to have a minor op that day so not sure if we'll be able to make it...going to play it by ear, and hope she's ok to go
Surely that's a matter of opinion? You'll be pleased to know that OK Computer is high on lots of lists
I saw she was playing down here but decided not to go, not sure why might regret it, I’d be interested in what you think
Bought tickets last week for Macy Gray...that could be interesting. Saw her years ago and she was nuts!
