It was constructive dismissal, they clearly wanted rid and deliberately engineered a situation they hoped would get him to leave.
Last company I worked for wanted shot of me, they tried everything, even the good cop/bad cop routine (I struggled not to laugh during that), in the end they caved in and paid me off.
I can’t even begin to think what John Hunt has been through and continues o go through after the death of two daughters and his wife. Another one who should have been shot dead when found. His botched attempt at suicide means he will need to be kept and cared for forever.
