Just listening to the news, sounds like mass execution of Alawhites taking place, kids as young as 1 & 2 years old, mothers, people just randomly shot in the back of the head.

 

Because the new Syrian government doesn't actually control the entire country, they only control some key cities, the most of it will still be in the hands of disparate rebel groups that have free reign.

It will erupt into another civil war, unless Turkey keeps them all reigned in.

Not fair and not true mate - I'll condemn the killing of civilians wherever it happens but the killings in Syria are tit-for-tat mainly on Assad's particular sect and by militias not under any central control - the deaths in Gaza are just as abhorrent but also on direct orders from a democratically elected government backed by the post powerful nation on the planet - attempting some sort of 'equivalence' is a bit of a stretch... to put it mildly ...
