In all honesty, I'm expecting another civil war there when the various anti-Assad factions turn on each other. That's usually how these things go.

Just listening to the news, sounds like mass execution of Alawhites taking place, kids as young as 1 & 2 years old, mothers, people just randomly shot in the back of the head.
Because the new Syrian government doesn't actually control the entire country, they only control some key cities, the most of it will still be in the hands of disparate rebel groups that have free reign. It will erupt into another civil war, unless Turkey keeps them all reigned in.
If what has happened in Syria, was reported to have happened in Palestine, the usual suspects on here would have already been on with their faux outrage. 1 & 2 year old kids shot in the head ffs. The perpetrators weren’t Jewish, so… I think today is Suckys day to get on the phone to prevent.
Not fair and not true mate - I'll condemn the killing of civilians wherever it happens but the killings in Syria are tit-for-tat mainly on Assad's particular sect and by militias not under any central control - the deaths in Gaza are just as abhorrent but also on direct orders from a democratically elected government backed by the post powerful nation on the planet - attempting some sort of 'equivalence' is a bit of a stretch... to put it mildly ...
Wow. So the Alawites had been dragging non-Alawite women and children out of the house and shooting them in the head? No, of course that never happened. So it ain’t tit for tat. People have seen Brb’s comment and had all day to reply and show their outrage like they do for Palestine. Never happened. It doesn’t take a genius to work it out. #JewishRacism
