I love my full electric (and the tax benefitsare great) But it does have to suit your driving needs, we also have a petrol car in the household and I wouldn't want us both to have full electric.
They left me with 970kilometres 600+ miles isn’t too shabby, oh and it wasn’t full so will probs get more on a tank…
And the hotel I stayed at the other week had free charging but I don't see anyone offering free petrol
Keep up the dissing of full electrics please - it just makes them cheaper. I love my Kona EV 64kwh, bought on a PCP for half the full price at a year old with just 10k on the clock. My London local council has just paid to put in a cross-pavement charging gully for my terraced house as part of a trial scheme (worth almost £1000 retail), which qualified me for a £350 government grant to reduce the cost of the home charger, which cost just £550 and now means I get electricity at less than a third the cost of a normal domestic rate (7p per kwh). What's more, with so-called 'smart charging' I seem to get this rate at any time I plug in, as long as I adjust the 'ready by' time -- I don't seem to have to wait for a cheap overnight rate. The range is MORE than claimed - 280 miles yesterday on a return trip to Bristol, with a diversion en-route, on I guess what you'd call a spring day. On short trips in summer round London I comfortably get 350 miles plus.
It really is fixed, on one hand apparently we have Europe's highest energy prices and somehow some are able to buy electric at 7p per Kw.
Each to their own, pleased it works for you but I will be sticking with my V8 twin turbo for a little longer lol
I saw a new mustang mach e the other day Im a hugeee mustang fan But if you can afford that car, its 50k+ Get a porsche taycan electric If you must have electric
Ford calling an electric car a Mustang is just an insult and totally pointless, nobody is going to buy it just because it's called Mustang. Anyone who's buying an electric ford is going to buy it anyway so call it something else.
There's a bloke on YouTube, The Mac Master, who's making a fortune showing how ****e the electric Porsche Taycan is. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I know somebody who has just taken their brand new one back after a couple of weeks because it's so crap. Porsche can't even get it to turn on
Unless it's a company car, I've absolutely no idea would get a brand new one. They've just chucked an absolute ton of money away
First they tarnished the Mustang name, putting it on a completely mediocre EV and now they’re doing the same with the Capri name.
Not only do I not want an EV, I also don't want driver assist, lane assist, speed assist or any type of ****ing assist. I also don't want a touch screen. So am keeping my 19 plate petrol until sanity returns. Am 71 so can probably make this one my last if I have to.
Lane assist is a ****ing nightmare, the first time I felt and heard it I thought we had a flat and that was at 120k on the A7 coming from Malaga, put the ****s right up me lol… actually the front and rear sensors are a must getting out of my daughter’s drive, she’s on the side of a track/road the one to the lost village and it’s a right pain trying to do a 3 point turn. Normally turns out to be 7 or 11. With the sensors it’s 3 to 5 most times…
