Yeah I like him too, always comes across really well and nice to see a club stick with a coach through a sticky period for a change too
We are still in with a chance.. don’t think it’s 100% done and dusted yet. this will go down to the final few games
I’ve nicked this from elsewhere but interesting none the less: Leeds have only won 3 of their last 13 games kicking off before 1:30pm. They go to both QPR and Luton for 12:30 kick offs within the next month They’ve also got Millwall next who have already beaten them twice this season.
Absolute quality from Kerkez that. He's getting a big move this summer. Does his defensive work perfectly and makes the interception at the right time, runs 50 yards with the ball and then puts in the best cross you'll see all season. Cool finish from Tavernier too, but that was all about Kerkez.
I actually just cheered that Bournemouth goal. Would have probably been my favourite Prem goal of the season.
That goal was even better than the first one. So poor from Semenyo to be offside and get that ruled out, especially as he didn't even play a major part in the goal.
Must say I don’t see why Porro is guaranteed a start for spurs. He’s really wayward these days. Surprised he hasn’t given Spence a try in a more natural position - particularly with Udogie now back.
It was absolutely class. I'd love us to evolve into this type of team over time. I liked what I saw from Forest yesterday too. They're both incredibly direct on the counter when they get the ball. There doesn't seem to be any time wasted, it's all about progressing the ball quickly. Bournemouth get the ball by pressing so high which is more high risk/high reward. Forest allow the opposition to have the ball, but they have one of the fiercest defences in the league. Every player is either incredibly physical or incredibly quick and most of them are both. I think counter attacking is the best way to success for an unfashionable team in the Prem and I also think its the type of game that suits this club and our fans would like.
