0-0 in the playoff final against Burnley, 4-4 on penalties with Isidor stepping up against Trafford is what is waking me up in cold sweats.
They were extremely boring during the period when they were boring ... ... according to their own supporters. They may fail to be promoted, beating 10 man relegated Luton won't get them up.
Coventry lost a 2-0 lead at home to a relegation candidate ... ... if that was Sunderland it would be called a disgrace.
It turns out Luton, who some confidently predicted would be promoted, are actually shyte They've lost more games than any other club and scored fewer goals than anyone, even Derby. They go to Cardiff, on Tuesday, who are 4th bottom and one of the few teams they can realistically catch ... ... lose that and they'll have players in the third division on £15,000 a week
Could Leeds fall apart again? if they lose at Portsmouth their position wouldn’t look quite so rosy but their run in is probably the easiest of the top three … … I’d rather they went up tbh, a Leeds v Sunderland final would be quite an event but they’d be favourites. As Burnley play Sheff Utd I still believe Leeds are safe. Portsmouth have recovered well from a dreadful start so will give them a game
I'm pleased he's forced his way into the starting line up, they've improved since he's been there ... ... he's a player I enjoy watching, always wants to go forward as quickly as possible.
Be a good game this think Pompey will make it competitive to begin with but ultimately Leeds’ quality will show and they’ll probably run out fairly comfortable winners, be a few scares on the way though
Luton are away while the four teams directly above them, Hull, Stoke, Cardiff and Derby are all at home ... ... if Luton lose at Cardiff they're staring down the barrel. Be nice if Derby can beat Coventry and knock them back a bit.
I see that Rob Jones that did not give the penalty for us against Watford(?) has just denied a stonewall pen to Leeds. Probably forgot he has no var again.
Wonder what’s went on there, surprised at how bad they’ve been this season. A thought morris and adebayo would be a handful in this division.
What possible encouragement could someone continually ringing a bell give to players ... ... the police should be give permission to taser him
I didn't think they were very good when they went up to the PL tbh. When they were relegated it put them on a downer and they've never recovered imo. Their 'effectiveness', in throwing endless balls into the area has faded and they can't seem to manage a Plan B. They probably had relegation clauses from the PL but probably not down to L1 ... ... the money they made will soon vanish if they're paying people 15k a week.
