I thought I'd noticed it the last three times our Pedro scored. Maybe one was the same weekend but not the same day.

This ref seems to have been harsh on Bristol on the other ma5ches he's refed them. I wonder if he realised this and decided to even it up at our detriment.

That would imply his decisions yesterday were incorrect.

Perhaps the authorities have issued an edict to the Refs to be firm following the Millwall goalie incident last week and Billy Bunter panicked and went straight for his card without weighing up the situation.

If that was the case you'd think that high foot would have been picked up straight away. I still don't know if it took the ref ages to blow or if it was offside he blew for

I'd sooner play Crookes up there. He has the strength to hold the ball up and despite a lack of pace he has already shown he knows where the net is

I thought the sending off was harsh but easy to see why the ref went that way. I initially didn't think it was a penalty but this angle changed my mind.

I was on Bunkers that day. Think we won 3-1 against Port Vale. Everyone thought Nick Deacy got a touch as Booth launched the ball from half way into the box, but everyone - including their keeper- somehow missed it and it went straight in <cheers>

Penalty all day long. Thought so at the time and no doubt seeing the replay. What the hell was Jones playing at? Wrong side of him and instead of moving and defending the cross he puts his arms round him from behind. Stupid.
Sending off was harsh though given that he pulled his legs out of the challenge and didn't get near their player. Hopefully appealed and overturned. Was still a stupid thing to do though.

After reading this thread you can see why refs get attacked reffing kids games on a Sunday morning

    pedro sending off
    Correct
    Jones foul penalty
    Correct

    players time wasting
    Booked
    Correct

I can understand been at the game and going a bit crazy but on here??

and yes the ref will miss things at times for both sides
but did he take a bribe? No
