We deserved nothing from that-battered them all game and could not score.
Do we want a playoff spot on that showing no.
Manning got his subs wrong should have put two strikers up top Cornick and Armstrong-Hull were down to ten man for the majority of the game and were knackered come the end.
Two points dropped along with the many more over the season.
Hull had nothing up front just like us they were powderpuff.
Thank god for the penalty as we played down the sides -backwards and forwards with no real threat or penetration in the striking positions.
Going to cost us come the seasons end.

How ironic, deserved sending off for the two footed tackle and constant time wasting since the 14th minute which he did nothing about.

Any team - including your own - would seek to run down the clock in the same situation

    That was extremely frustrating.
Thank goodness for the penalty because we wouldn’t have scored from open play.
Fair play to Hull - they frustrated us and blocked everything we threw at them.
Overall a draw is probably fair - but we needed all 3 to boost our playoff hopes.
It’s still there - we CAN do it.

Do you know, it’s actually scientifically possible to infinitely move closer to something without actually achieving it?
If you move towards an object and half the distance you travel each move - forever - you will be travelling forever in infinity but never get to your goal.
    That’s us with the Prem.

You mean the two footed lunge, there wasn’t actually any tackle, he didn’t touch him (despite his writhing around, there wasn’t actually any contact).

I hope we appeal to try and get the ban reduced.

Anyone from 5th to 15th can still make the playoffs with a good run in
    Us included
Whether we will is quite another matter

Goals are going to be our downfall-today clearly showed that.

Oh for GJ's extra club in the bag.

We'd have been there all night and never scored with Manningball.
Horrible to watch passing back and forth to nowhere.

Lack of even minor investment or a punt on a loanee may well stil bite us hard when it could have been different
But we all know the owners are petrified of the top flight

The bogeyman that we keep running away from will catch up with us one day and bite our supposed commitment to achievement where it hurts most and that's the smaller pocket we would have in League One. When it comes down to winning the crucial matches we fail at almost every hurdle put in front of us and are then expected to listen to the after match mushroom manure flung our way. The apathy can be seen from the dark side of the moon and even the blokes out there can't believe how bad we are most of the time and as for the rest of time we'll just sit by and watch the miracle happen, but it won't.

To commit serious foul play you do not have to touch him. The challenge if it endangers an opponent is serious foul play. Here is an example of endangering an opponent.

We can all pull a video still, here’s one showing he wasn’t close to endangering him…

It's the angle of sight that the ref sees that makes, in his mind, the decision.
He thought it was dangerous or out of control and whatever view we take it won't change anything.
Perhaps Hull might appeal but even then it won't change yesterday.

    Anyway let's enjoy today's sunshine <cheers>

I thought its out of control and dangerous but whats good for Mendip Broadwalk v Shire is good enough for Ashton Gate, its 2024 and refs have got to get more inclusive. Brexit Brext means Brexit!!!

And we still can’t score playing Manningball-he is so one dimensional the bloke needs to learn 2 strikers were required to win the game and he did not do that. IMG_7211.jpeg

If professional footballers getting paid very well get 7 shots on target in a game I would expect them to score more than one
