I think he will to be fair. He looked bright first couple of games but over time has shown that he's miles off this standard
He can’t defend, looks decent going forward so should be fine in the Championship. Was doomed from when Tom was saying he was an upgrade on KWP when he signed and it looked like he was KWPs replacement
It was always far too premature to be handing out plaudits to Suga before August had even finished. You can't judge a player from such a small sample size. I do agree though that he hopefully should be fine in the Championship. But way below the level we had at RB last time...
First half was a great effort. Aggressive and brave on the ball. Liverpool were miles better second half but we were not aggressive or brave. If we are going to play Lallana bring him on at half time.
Classic Saints against a big club performance and result really. We'll only know how much the change in formation and tactics has actually improved us against Wolves etc. We usually up our performance against the big clubs anyway so difficult to say today it was definitely due to the change in formation/tactics.
I imagine if you talk to fans of Utd, City, Liverpool and Arsenal, they'll be surprised that we're in danger of breaking Derby's record. Because lets face it, the only time they would watch us is when we're playing their team.
Noticed in the second half that Liverpool players in mid field had nobody within ten yards of them. Yet Saints players were marked closely. Difference in class. Once again two individual mistakes take the game away from us. What was Tall Paul doing when he chased back and fouled Quannsah? That’s not his job. Stick to being a CF.
