That's my line, and Bisc has already stolen it.

    An odd match.

Psg very clearly the better side, certainly first half, but second I felt reasonably comfortable.

The counter was always on, unfortunate but I thought salah and diaz where both incredibly poor, on another day we could have broke and had 3 in the first half.

Unless we're winning by a few at half time... not too many. We haven't got any cups yet... we still need to take every game seriously.

Salah rarely beats his man these days, but he's usually a great passer - tonight he was pants all round.

Salah's worst game of the season and Alisons best.

Although Nunez was only on the pitch for a short time thought he did well. Jones and Endo tightened up midfield when they came on and Elliott showed a great first touch

For once, the substitutes made a big impact.

Trent was very good tonight too, probably his best defensively performance

That was the biggest robbery since Brinks Matt, but so enjoyable I may take up bank heists as a hobby as I am retiring 5/4/25 and have been looking for something to occupy me in retirement. I will need a wheel man though if anyone fancies risking 10 years inside for an adrenaline rush!

Eh? Thought our subs have been great all season.

It's not over, and if they score first I'd still say they were favourites, but... wow. I've always said Clemence was the best Liverpool goalie ever, and well remember an away performance against Bruges in a two-leg final, including one of the best pen saves you'll ever see, and thought that couldn't be bettered. But ****ing wow - not just the super saves, but ensuring the 6-yeard box was totally his tonight, just like Clem at his best. Just wish ray was still alive to have seen this - he'd have doffed his hat, for sure.
    Allison Becker - deserves a statue. <applause>:emoticon-0139-bow:

Controversial but I'd much rather keep darwin and let diaz go.

I agree if Nunez got a run in the team I think he would improve. Diaz seems to be like a headless chicken at times. Get rid and get Izak. Not the toilet paper favoured by schools in the 60's:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile

Sorry but if you have 27 shots with an xg of 1.8 then have to question the forwards. Ali pulled off some saves but how many were speculative shots outside the area than we just come to expect him to save.

Not to diminish what he did but feel like the reporting making it sound like psh tore us apart and should have scored about 7. 1 very good chance when vvd went walkabouts - no idea what he was doing, plus a great one when got cut back to the CM who hit it into the ground.

rest were all pot shots from outside the area.

We've got one number 9 in jota.

3 who prefer to play on the left. Diaź who's more than had a go, gakpo who's the preferred option an darwin who's never been given a chance there.

Of all 3 Diaz is the one I'd let go, we'd get more money for him, he's the least effective.

To be honest I just think he's a bit ****, a slightly better version of anthony

if today taught us anything it’s that this team doesn’t like a weeks break. Sometimes routine of game every 3 days is better than a long break.

They did, tbf, especially in the first half. 7 would have been ridiculous though - but four before we scored really wouldn't have.

    This tie isn't over.
