Depends on how you both react, if he/she does not want to kill you anymore than you want to kill him/her you could both lay down your weapons and share your rations, but in all probability you both react in self-defence and both die

I'm not as sympathetic towards Russia as some on here but this point resonates with me and has baffled me throughout this three-year old conflict. We all want to have our cake and eat it. We don't want Russia to win. But we also don't want WW3. We want Ukrainian wheat. But also want Russian gas and oil. We want to expand NATO to include more of Europe. But we also want the USA to bankroll and backstop any expansion. I've often wondered what was going through Neville Chamberlain's head in Munich in 1938 when he signed that worthless piece of paper with Hitler. But it makes total sense. We will force ourselves to hold two mutually contradictory viewpoints if it guarantees us the chance to continue pursuing the path of doing **** all.

He's sulking like a spoilt child at the moment because he genuinely is expecting Zelenskyy to apologise, and until he does more kids will have to die without American aid. It's clear what is going on here, he's planning to share the spoils of war with his buddy Putin, so there is no humanity in this, like he pretends to allude to. It's a simple carve up Ukraine process, and at the moment the Democrats are sitting stumm and just watching, because they don't know what to do. I think we will all have to learn a hard lesson from this and that is treat America with the same disdain as people do with Russia and China....in fact I'd probably trust those last two countries more than I do the US, because at least then I know precisely where I stand with them, rather than absolute raving ****ing lunatic off his trolley.
There is a almost impossible solution, Europe turns its back on America, (Vance seems to want America to leave NATO and the UN) and propose a United Europe which includes Russia and Ukraine, not as part of the EU but as a coalition of Governments which would include the parts of Europe not in the EU to agree trade deals and a long term future that would benefit all of Europe, Russia to keep a small part of Ukraine that wants to be part of Russia and for Ukraine to know that its future was safe and secure and would leave America to fester it its own cesspit, the stumbling block would be if Russia could be trusted to keep its part of the deal long term and not be the belligerent bully boy everyone fears

Well the choices at the moment are to either let Trump and Putin carve up Ukraine, or we the UK along with the rest of Europe will have to move forward to protect them. Neither of them choices are favourable to me. Just roll a dice and let fate decide.
