"100 percent of the shots you don't take don't go in." .Wise words.

Not technically true? Might chose to pass then pass gets deflected in for example? Meaning a shot you don't take does go in.

From latest injury update, sounds like KP is a player Selles likes and wants and can fit into his system.. So much for the silly comments to the contrary. Decent player for this level.

I was thinking similar when I read it. He also started him ahead of Puerta in the two games he was available.

I think there may be an element of truth in him not being Selles' ideal kind of player, but given that he hasn't yet moulded this squad to his liking he seems happy enough to use Palmer where he can bring something to the table. Perhaps a bit like how Rosenior played Oscar a lot before shipping him out in his first summer.

Crooks being a doubt with a facial injury picked up in training sounds a bit mad, by the way

Gundogan isn't exactly a giant, but was unmarked in the box for multiple chances

Recall West Ham doing the same when their fans voted the goal posts as m.o.m !

He’s not going to say he’s not in his plans whilst the transfer window has just closed and he’s just returning from injury. I’m still 90% sure Palmer will be gone by the end of the summer transfer window.

Finally arrived in NZ over the weekend, though my bags didn't until today. Fortunately, no game Saturday or would have missed it live, so looking forward to this game, and just hope we can start to win at home. At least evening games are at a respectable hour here 8.45 am Wednesday morning, not so respectable for 3pm KO though.

It's amazing how desperate you are to gloat when you don't apply even a modicum of common sense first.
