If they weren't worth ****, the death toll would be in the hundreds of thousands. This should be obvious when we look at the scale of destruction and compare it to the estimated death toll.
That's a different matter, fleeing men from other countries. If they want to flee good for them but it's not on the onus of a country to accept them if they don't want them. Just because Russia have issued conscripted doesn't mean I should think it's right when Ukraine does the same. If the remaining youth of that country do not want to stand up for themselves and fight a war and the international community decide to do nothing about it then it's a shame but it's time to admit defeat. At the end of the day, they have chosen to forfeit their freedom by not fighting for it and if it means russia take over then it will be their fault but i think they would prefer that than death. Even if something is passed into law you can be against it and think its wrong. It was okay for officers shot deserters who didn't want to go over the top but i can think it's wrong. It's illegal to shag a man in the middle east but i can think it's wrong
