i was just on the lfc website and found this http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/media-watch/agger-could-play-central-midfield it was actually in the echo... i hadn't seen that so thats interesting. both plans have potential. i'm not sure which will be gone for or which is best.... the question is which gives us the best defense and best change of goals too....
You never know what Kenny is going to do. But would you like to see this formation personally or do you have something else in mind that you would like to see?
I've always fancied the idea of Agger playing a sort of libero role in front of the defence because I think he's really good on the ball- but I can't see us ever playing that system. I'm not sure why he's any more likely to get injured in the middle than he is tackling Drogba or Wazza etc.,tbh. Poor lad could injure himself putting his socks on so wherever he plays we've always got to be ready for it. As for CB, I think it's time to phase Carra out and bring Coates into the role- great servant that Carra has been, I think the end is nigh.
Zingy; I like the 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation and would try to stick with it. I agree that 3-5-2 is a viable option given our circumstance but I think that everything that we've done has been around the original formation and by and large this has proven successful (at least in chances created & goals conceded)....even on Monday, albeit to a lesser degree without Lucas. So if Kenny (a big if) is remotely comfortable with someone else in that role, I reckon he'll stick with it....just my feeling! As to who could fill the space most effectively....I think Agger.
