Intelligent criticism is to be accepted but calling for sackings is crazy. I admit recent games have been poor and today included but I think responses in an adult manner are better.

I just don’t think Howe can take us any further forward. Which is fine if we accept we are a top half side. If we want to bridge the gap and challenge in the next 3-5 years then we have to consider if he is strong enough and good enough. I guess the question right now is are we happy with being a top half side?
It's 2023 again. We get into a cup final, we get a key player sent off before the final and our form goes to ****e. The outcome will also be the same, we wont turn up at Wembley, Liverpool will win 3-0 and then the team will try and fight for a European place and will miss out again. Howe I think is doing the best he can with the teams limitations and his. However if we offer an extension to Wilson, Targett or any of those not good enough then it's time for him to go. We need fast ball playing CBs (x2), we need a very good RW, a goalkeeper and a striker. 5 big recruitments coming up. I would listen to offers for Gordon, Bruno, Barnes, Willock and the Ashley clan. Gordon and Bruno only go if offered top dollar. We need to move onto the next stage and if we have to sell them for 70M plus then that will fund a revamp of the squad. Sounds silly but if Howe hadn't got that 12 game win streak, he would be under real pressure as before and after that streak have been awful to watch. Make no mistake, this summer is key to whether NUFC push on to solidify top 6 consistently or we do nothing again and look more top 10 team that is on the wain.
What I meant was there are reactionary trolls everywhere, ie even when City were at the best, they'd be moments on the BBC commentary where people would comment with things like "does Pep know what he's doing?" if they happened to be losing for a moment. For example Arsenal fans are saying Arteta isn’t the right man to take them to the next level. Are they deluded. Or are they asking the question after 100’s of millions of pounds of investments. We are where we are now. Haven't lost the league cup and finished 7th, but also haven't won the league cup and finished 4th. We'll see. I think we'll lose the cup, but we have a slim chance.
It's crunch time and right now I'd bet on Newcastle having problems over the next month or two. It's all looking a mess at the moment.
