Reckon you would have been challenging for the top spots tbf - what with your campaigning for homelessness - them in the relegation zone support making a whole nationality homeless ... by compulsory purchase bombing
... you might have a point ... but his demand that Scott Parker be bummed to death on the General Matchday thread earlier today suggests a more 'participatory' interest
You gonna do a table showing who loves a bit of fascism and genocide, with yourself near the the top? You know, for balance.
You might have a bit of catching up to do. Read the past 200 pages of this thread, that should do the trick
He's totally abandoned his previously relatively pro-Israel position since hearing that a holiday with Mahmoud Abbas courtesy of the taxpayer is up for grabs.
Phase Two requires the withdrawal of the IDF from key strategic positions across the Gaza strip. The worry is that there is still no clear plan as to what will fill that vacuum if they leave, with the assumption being that Hamas will just use the opportunity to regroup and rearm. You yourself have said many times that Hamas should not be allowed to do this, so I assume in light of the lack of a better alternative you should support Israel's request to extend Phase One?
I think you got the hump because I said the hostage deal was a **** one. I've always been pro-Israel and I still remain so, BUT it does not make Israels political powers immune from criticism. In my eyes revenge has always been the goal, never the safe release of all the hostages a point you know I made from the very beginning, in fact I can't even remember other hostage situations where anyone went down such a destructive path. Was the war justified, yes, was the path it took astute, far from it. Should Netanyahu be held to account for his actions, absolutely. The war came about due to complete and utter security failings, it then took a path of wanton detruction and a longer term aim of complete failings to appease terrorism in the future, if anything it will have created new generations of terrorists. As for the hostage deals, absolutely laughable, it made Hamas look the ones with any sense of control, maybe their propoganda machine is more effective, and Israels quite limp. What's the answer, I don't have one, but for me now Netanyahu falls into the same category as Bush and Blair and should be up on crimes against humanity, along with Putin and any other **** that treads these paths. I remain pro Israel, but that does not give anyone a free reign to do as they please. Now stick me at nuimber 1 and stfu. please log in to view this image
There actually isn't that much distance between you and me. I agree with the vast majority of what you've just written. And I'm 19th
There’s an absence of any alternative Palestinian governance at the moment, so these negotiations will come down to Hamas to engage with, as they have been thus far. What should happen is that Israel, Hamas, Egypt, US, Jordan and Qatar should get round the table and start to negotiate the next phase of the ceasefire, including withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. Hamas have said they won’t sign an agreement to this extension until there is a guarantee that phase two will happen. They want it to happen, so get round the table and make it happen. Israel withdrawing humanitarian aid is just the sick and nasty tactics of the bully boys. Punishing the people who have no voice and have endured the worst of the horrors.
You should. Better than any novel. Brb could print out the various GC politics threads and make millions.
