Afternoon folks, not posted on here for a while so this seems a good time to jump back in as i have a bit of news to share. My mate just phoned me to say he just bumped into and had a chat with Jonny Howson at the petrol station. he was limping badly but not on crutches. he asked how the injury was and he said it feels pretty bad at the moment but still not sure how long he'll be out. he also asked about the contract and he says it's moving slowly but he has every intention of staying. bit of reassurance to go with Aidy Whites interview.
my mate said he must have been as he didn't seem to be with anyone else, so thats something i suppose. although having said that, i've had an injury before where i could still drive, but would have had no chance of playing footy!
i know but it cant be like cruciate knee ligament damage or anything like that cos he'd be on crutches and have no chance of being able to drive
Hes definately on crutches just spoke to his grandad! however he is not getting results back til tomorrow
must have left em in the car, his grandad would know i suppose. either way he aint gonna be on the pitch for a while which is a shame as he was just getting back to form now we have switched back to 4231. would like to see McCormack or Nunez in his spot this weekend, or, maybe Snoddy there and Sam on the right, what do you guys reckon?
I reckon McCormack or Sam will play there, Nunez doesnt deserve a chance in the first team ahead of those two for me. Sam played well on the weekend but i am kinda expecting McCormack to play there now. Either way, lets hope for another Leeds win and continue the climb
Has to be McCormack in the middle I think. He can both create and score, shoot from close range or long and links up the play neatly. A better option than the less intelligent Sam, the inconsistent Nunez or any other option we've got there.
