True. Why shouldn’t Ukraine give up its land simply because Putin wanted it and unlawfully invaded Ukraine. I’m sure we would just agree to allow Putin to take and keep some of our land if he invaded. And of course Trump would happily give up part of America if Putin invaded as well in order to end a war, wouldn’t he?

Trump and Vance just attempting to ambush Zelensky with pre prepared claims which bore no reality to what was being said and what was actually happening. For Trump & Co it’s just about money. Nothing to do with ‘right’ or ‘wrong’.
