Give them time. Got to stabilise before you can grow.

    Evening all

Feeling good to be a Leeds United supporter at the minute, nothing to be negative about

It seems folk are waiting for us to blow up.

We're 3 points better off than last season at this stage, sheff utd have 11 points less than Leicester had, Burnley 4 less than Ipswich.
We're better, the opposition are not as good, I'm holding on to that for now.

If we go up, we'll need to sign a new striker

We have to bite the bullet and spend big money and pay big wages

If Sunderland don't go up, how does everyone feel about Wilson Isidor ?

We were also becoming very predictable this time last season. We had Summerville, a bit lazy, you know he won’t pass, he’ll cut in from the left and go top corner, stop that and he’s not got much else to offer. We now have Solomon who mixes it up and gives the ball away less

Rutter was another luxury, great when he’s on form but not a workhorse like Aaronson, I’m not saying Rutter isn’t a better player, he’s just not as suited to the team

Archie Gray at RB compared to Bogle, or Archie compared to Tanaka, no comparison, Tanaka and Bogle any day, again Archie will surpass them but today in this team compared to last season we have better

Still an odd coincidence that how many teams lose their next game after playing us. Of course could be my mind playing tricks on me. Need ASKI to verify <laugh>

Your mind is definitely being tricked LoL ;)

10 teams have lost their next league fixture after playing ourselves (30.3%)

6 teams have drawn their next league fixture after playing ourselves (18.2%)

17 teams have won their next league fixture after playing ourselves (51.5%)

Even since the start of 2025, more teams have won their next league game than lost after playing ourselves, with 4 teams registering a win, 2 a draw, and 3 falling to a defeat, with Sheffield United's result for the next game presently unknown.

After playing us at Elland Road, 7 teams win their next league game, 4 have drawn whilst 6 have lost

After playing us at their home venue, 10 teams have won their next league game, 2 have drawn whilst only 4 have lost.

Of the 3 teams that have beaten us this season, 2 have gone on to win their next league fixture, whilst the other team only got a draw.

Of the 9 teams that have drawn against us, 5 have won their next league game, 2 have drawn and 2 have lost.

Of the 22 teams that have lost against us, 10 have gone on to win their next league game, 3 have obtained a draw, whilst 8 have lost. Obviously we don't yet know what Sheffield United will do until the weekend.

    Also just for comparison ;)

11 Teams have won their next league fixture after playing Sheffield United
11 Teams have drawn their next league fixture after playing Sheffield United
11 Teams have lost their next league fixture after playing Sheffield United

So just on a data set of two teams fixtures, more teams have lost their next fixture after playing Sheffield United than have lost after playing ourselves :emoticon-0107-sweat

It's more of a surprise how many teams win their next game after playing us ;)

As always here's a copy of my data, just in case I've made an error

I make up for my lack of posts, by compensating with a high ratio of words per post :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Plus I need to fill my time in the evenings with my frequent inability to sleep :(

Have you tried Magnesium Glycinate, I'm the same 4 possibly 5 hrs a night, I was recommended this about 2 months ago, thought for 20 quid give it a go, no miracle cure but I'm getting more 5/6 hrs kips now, hopefully will get better as I take it for longer.
