Starmer says Charles has invited Trump over to UK for a visit.

Probably so Trump and Prince Andrew can discuss some of the underage prostitutes they've banged to help build trans Atlantic ties.

Starmers good at talking to Trump

His emphasis on the word "deal" he said "deal" about 5 times in one sentence, which is classic Trump language even saying "we want to help so it goes down as an 'historic deal'" it's exactly what a guy like Trump wants to hear.

Realistically the best way to get out of the Trump presidency without it being a disaster is to copy Japan under Shinzo Abe and just nod along the appropriate amount and get the best possible negotiations whilst he targets other competitors who fail to kiss his ass. The Germans are particularly **** at kissing his ass apparently.

Yeah Starmers doing a good job, I've been happy with his leadership skills on the world stage. Stand his ground without triggering Trump, it's about getting the best outcomes possible for the UK. Plus the monarchy making the twat sound special with an invite all helps. We just got to get through the next four years. Beth the sky reporter has just triggered Trump, so now we are going to get a ****ing long monologue, but if he's distracted with the EU, then he can have a fight with that dog and not us.

Top bit of arse licking that. Or diplomacy, whatever you want to call it

That sort of stuff is what keeps Trump onside, and love him or loathe him, we need him onside.

The only thing that worried me during the Starmer visit to Trump was the British Media, but it seems they behaved themselves for once. I think the media have responsibility in all this to ensure they are not doing or saying anything that makes Keirs job any harder. I know there was some numpty that brought up about Canada, but the PM bounced that one straight back, stop looking to cause division that don't exist between the UK and US.

Actually, although it's for very different motivations, I do agree, and have agreed for a long time that Britain's free speech has gone down since I left. (not suggesting that my leaving caused it to go downhill). Hate speech laws and Priti Patel's reign of terror as examples. Of course rich people have always been able to get injunctions of the press... especially royal family.

People have been given 2 year sentences for Facebook posts.

Labour mp smashes the **** out of someone and gets 10weeks jail, and within 3 days has somehow had an appeal heard and won it so no jail time.

Make of that what you will

Zelenskyy arrives at White House, Trump standing there ready to greet him as he gets out the car, all seems friendly enough.

When muslims become the majority...
lol, only an idiot would think that'd ever happen.

Well, the thing is, even if it does happen, it won't happen like people expect. Studies show that young muslims growing up in the west, whereas many retain strong ties to their religion, are much more liberal than their parents. Young muslims growing up in the UK don't want sharia law or laws banning alcohol, homosexuality, pork, etc. Even if they avoid those things themselves, they don't believe they should be illegal. Sure, there are exceptions, and extremists who are born in the UK... but there's also plenty of non-muslim nutters who go round killing and doing crime. Crime and counter-culture is more an economic issue or psychological issue than a religious issue.

If Muslims ever reach the point that they are the majority, the majority of them won't be fresh off the boat- they'll have been living in a relatively free society and have no desire to be repressed. Many of them will have been born British and have a very British outlook on the world.

Absolute Rubbish.

Wherever Muslims have a majority, women are oppressed and sharia comes in.

All these not fresh off the boat ones you speak of will fall in line with thier religion when/if it gains power.... of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

I'm announcing the launch of my new transatlantic party, the Repression Party. I don't expect to ever get elected, I'm just planning to steal votes from Republicans/Reform Party to weaken their grip.

It will run on a platform of repressing and killing anyone who is not white with blue eyes and blond or brown hair... yes, even baldies will get repressed. Male red-heads, you're first into the gas chambers. You put ketchup or HP sauce on steak, you die too! People who jay walk. People who smell funny. People you worship anything other than chickens.

Naturally, if I ever get power I'm not going to actually enforce any of those rules... except the ginger blokes, they're all going to die.
