Plus you don't increase the attacking threat by playing more defenders. Defensive record is average, offensive record is well below that and has been the root of this year's problems.
Shouldn't have strengthened in Jan then by that logic, which is the reason for a lot of the changes. But we had to because what went before was getting us relegated. Of course you can train to a system so when changes are made players have developed an understanding of their roles.

Macca at left back could work a lot better if we played more traditional football. That is also an option. He’s just not a marauding dynamic full back by any stretch which is what he’s trying to be recently. Because that is what the high intensity high pressing Selles ball demands.
So drop Geldhart or Barry to play a complete unknown quantity in a more defensive role. It's not the defensive form that's been our Achilles heel this season.
