Yeah Hammond is not good enough for the premier league.I've never rated him to be honest pretty average player tbh, poor technique, poor vision and poor passing.
Yeah, there was a massive drop in form when keen stopped playing him, also, Ipswich's form improved considerably when he joined them.
They haven't won in 7 games and I think that may include one draw and the rest losses. How is that an improvement?
He was injured a few weeks back, but generally has played really well for them, just because a team is playing badly doesn't mean the player is ****. Look at scott parker and west ham, he was awesome last year in a terrible team.
Ipswich aren't a bad side though they just struggle to defend. You (not you specifically, just in general) can't call Ipswich a bad side with some of the players they have in there. The initial point you made was that players like Keith Richards have made it in the Premier League. My point is that he is on loan at Ipswich and Blackburn are looking to offload him. Blackburn sit in the relegation zone and he is getting pushed away by them. He obviously hasn't made it and will end up as a Championship player and he will get to ply his trade in the PL every so often.
Keith Andrews is the footballer and Keith Richards is the Rolling Stones guy! I see your point but I think that he is being pushed out by the fans and the manager, fans don't like him because h was bought from a league 1 team (despite playing well). And he doesn't like the manager because he doesn't feel like he supports him. Players like him (box to box players) their main part of their game is hassling and staying fit, you get that part rioght and then you have a player who can play in most leagues, once their distribution and other aattributes are aded you have the best players in a team (lamps and gerrard).
I'm listening to the Stones at the moment. My bad. Yeah I agree with you there but box to box midfielders aren't as important these days in PL. Look at Palacios of Spurs (or did he move to stoke) he's a quality box to box player but his vision and pass let him down. He will play low down in the Premier League from now on as he isn't as good as the Parkers or the Fellainis (sp?) of football.
