One game for the first suspension and two for the second seems reasonable to me. My question would be more what warranted the red card in the first place and 70k fine. Slot's not elaborated and we haven't got the written reasoning yet. If it was just a vigorous handshake and a sarcastic "good game" then it appears well over the top. But maybe there was more.
Don't know what happened, but something must have. Slot saying emotions got the better of him is an admission of this, though whether or not it deserved a red I've no idea. Slot did the right thing by admitting it and taking the hit, even if it was a bigger hit than necessary. Anyway, we all knew Klopp would be a hard act to follow, and Slot is doing rather well on the pitch, but there's still room for improvement when it comes to pissing off the officials.
I’m sure he still thinks it was it was ott but he’s done the best thing. Be a gent about it, sorry and we move on. Picking fights and further needless headlines is out of the question. We’ve cracked on and effectively won the thing after that ****show of a game
Agreed. No need to make other distractions from what’s going on on the pitch. Take it as a lesson learned and move on.
yes you cannot win with PGMOL and refs in general. they are spiteful, nasty and vindictive depsite supposedly having to be fair and impartial. If you cross them enough they just get even.
La Liga report City for breaching EU anti competition laws, stating that all City think about is how to avoid the rules. Erm….Madrid….Pot, Kettle…..
If Leicester don't sack RVN after tonight, they might as well just accept Relegation and sack RVN anyway cause he'd be **** as a Championship manager.
Today Michael Oliver once again proved himself a coward and a small man. The milwall keeper basically tried to decapitate matets today. Oliver wouldn't red card him and took 2 minutes looking at a var monitor to work up the coursge, such as his fear of Millwall fans. https://talksport.com/football/2975247/jean-philippe-mateta-hospital-oxygen-millwall-liam-roberts/ Just to be clear the player woke up in hospital with half his ear hanging off. Here you can see the boot following through The player will need reconstructive surgery but Oliver needed 5 mins to figure out what to do. A coward. A bottler A small man. Same as at woodison. He shar his pants and let Everton do what they liked all game. He started waving cards about after the final whistle. Slot shook his hand and he red carded him. People still saying but what was said. It was great game. A small petty coward. Now he's had to have probably 4 officials (both lines, var and 4th offical) in his ear telling him to red card this keeper while he was in a cold sweat working about milwall fan reaction.
I'm not watching any of the games today but I read that Oliver waved play on initially. He's not only showing how grossly incompetent he is, he's actually becoming a liability.
