Important we come away with something...a third loss in a row isn't worth thinking about, trust RLB to come up with the answer and we get back on track...we seem to enjoy a Friday night match so 3 points for me HTL.
Thanks again for all your input RTB , this game is yet another challenge and its time for Reg to take the brakes off and drive us towards the play-offs . I also would like to see Mundle Iisidor and Mayenda in the starting line up, and Abdullahi , Watson and Roberts as back up would be a bonus. OaU.
Cracking as always RTB. Thanks. My first game for months so cant wait. Meeting up with a couple of old mates I havent seen in about 5 years. Should be a boozy one. Time for me to do my little bit from the stands. Oh, and for Blondie, I will stay to the end for this one, it is only a 30 minute train home for me
I’d go for this Patterson Hume Mepham 09 Cirkin Neil Jobe Aleksic Mayenda Mundle Isidor bench: Moore Hjelde Samed Browne Rigg Roberts Poveda Abdullahi Ogunsuyi
I would go along with that but I make one change - Browne for Aleksic. I think an older head up against the likes of Bannan and his **** housery at times and to slow the play down may be needed. Give him about an hour and then change it around
O'Nien plays his 300th game for Sunderland against Sheff Wed if selected https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...s-ahead-of-milestone-300th-appearance-5003099
I reckon it will be: Patterson Hume Mepham O'Nien Cirkin Neil Samed Roberts Jobe Mundle Isidor Subs: Moore, Hjelde, Seelt, Browne, Aleksic, Rigg, Poveda, Mayenda, Ogunsuyi. Not the team I'd pick, but it's what I think RLB will go with.
RLB: Ballard out for 6-8 weeks Le Fee out for 4-6 Watson - next week. Ahmed still struggling We played well at Leeds but it wasn't a disaster against Hull, sometimes mistakes are punished. When a striker or a goalkeeper make a mistake it is amplified 09s behaviour around the team is good and an example for the young squad. The team learnt their limits during the Leeds game Sheff Wed are a good team and a good challenge. We are at a different stage of the season and we can learn, we have added layers to the game model, it is a new challenge now, sometimes we are too predictable The players reaction after the defeat was a good one they have trained well
It's what happens when people are injured before a medical takes place. We need to stop this type of decision. I don't think he will play a single minute of senior football this season.
Even pessimistically, 6 weeks takes us to 5th April (ish) so you'd assume he'd be available for the last 5 or 6 games of the regular season. 4 weeks would have him back after the international break
