He was holding something towards the end of the forest game. I remember saying at the time a Howe could have pulled him off at 4-1.

It's the entire side though. Garbage

As long as we don’t do a Man City performance I’m happy as long as we give 100%.

Howe saved the legs and nearly threw the game against Forrest and if we get mauled it was a silly decision.

But I think we may get a surprise tonight.

4-0 defeat would be a surprise, looking at a team with Burn, Wilson and Pope in it. It's the bench, though - holy ****ing ****. Ruddy, Trippier, Targett, Longstaff, Barnes, Krafth. If we're getting twatted, what on earth do you do?

Still, I'm happy neither Joelinton or Botman (or Isak, if he's feeling something) were risked in this. But we should, as I said, have gone 5-4-1. 4-3-3 with crap in the side is suicide from Howe. Again.

I'd have gone Livramento, Krafth, Schar, Burn, Hall back five, Murphy, Tonali, Bruno, Gordon across the middle and Wilson up top.

I've honestly no idea what the **** Howe is thinking.

Well was 50:50 whether to watch this but definitely not now.

I think he is being rested as I suspect Liverpool would have targeted him with some dodgy tackles.

The phrase damage limitation springs to mind.

As it should be, so why on earth would we play the same ****ing 433 that got battered by City, rather than the 541 that did so well vs Arsenal?

Rather not risk Isak today and save him for a few weeks time if needed. As others have said, free swing here if we get a point it’s a great point, if we get beat - as long as it’s not a thumping - then that’s almost expected. Also understand the not going 5-4-1 in this game as I have a feeling we will try that again in the final so don’t give them any extra preparation time looking at it.

They don't even know the severity of the injury. It's possible he's out for the final. All because Howe didn't get him off vs forest when the opportunity was clearly there.

I pointed that out when I saw Isak pick something up shortly before the sub came.

Howe seemed quite optimistic tbh, maybe he misses this game and Brighton at the weekend but as long as he’s back for the final it doesn’t matter.

Of course he does, but he doesn't know until the results come back. He probably knows he should have taken him off.

I think being fair it’s probably the right outlook. LC final is by far the biggest, FA Cup too much down to luck and our best XI loses to Liverpool 9 times out of 10.
