Sitting on the fence, yeah, you've been fighting over a lost goat for over 3,000 years, hard to say who is to blame, or if the goat just wandered off.

You and Cnile 65 should think of a career in comedy - there's a distinct gap in the market since the Chuckle Bros quit..

All life is sacred .... unless it is women and kids in a 'defensive response' ... apparently ... perhaps you can include those in your 'thoughts and prayers' ... yeah right ...

If I've heard right, Israel are delaying any more release of hostages, due to the conditions that the released hostages were kept in.

Israel spokesman has gone into detail of the hostages treatment and also claims child hostages were strangled to death. Israel said they will not let this go and will reach anyone who tries to hide from them.

    Interesting developments today.

Starmer slashes international aid budget and reallocates the funds to defense.

Badendoch gives a speech calling international law a broken illusion.

We're in a strange place whereby technology and globalisation has made us more interconnected than ever, yet countries across the globe seem to be pushing - hard - for more insular 'us first' politics, the type of isolationism the USA famously pursued at the beginning of WW2.

I hate to say, "they started it" but, they did actually start it.

No one with any sense wants this, but the White House is occupied by a man child, his reactions to things are so petty and all over the place that we simply have to be our own continent again.

What's worse is we have proper dumb ****s in our countries who don't just think "he gets one or two things right" but genuinely support the fat ****.

It's an absolutely perfect excuse to be independent and start reaching out to countries the US just doesn't like. China is a great example.

I don't know what China has ever done for us to not like them, always seems strange to me. Yeah I know some might want to jump on some moral bandwagon, but you could point those accusations at loads of countries including the UK.

I just don't like going hating countries just because someone tells me I should, whether that be Russia, China or even Israel, along with many others. Fed up with the China, China, China nonsense, and all the **** that was thrown about during covid.

A bit like when countries go blowing **** up, guess who pays for it to be rebuilt, we do in one way or another, stop blowing stuff up guys.

Then take countries like Sudan and all the charities that help them, then they go ****ing the place up again by burning everything to the ground and more fighting.

Watch this embedded video, the ****s don't stop... https://news.sky.com/video/sudan-wa...om-its-biggest-humanitarian-disaster-13316452 I really don't know how that reporter goes to some of the ****holes and dangerous places that she does, her own cameraman got beat up not long ago.

I’m not opposed to us doing business with China, but you and I are old enough to remember Tianaman Square. Or maybe you forgot this?

Yeah I remember that but I also remember Tony Blair ****ing up the Middle East, so should I hate the UK as well? You have a very convenient memory when it suits you and what about British made weapons to Israel. Oh and us rescuing a load of sheep in the Falklands on a far away land. Maybe you've forgotten Bloody Sunday and many more atrocities the Brits carried out, just shows how narrowminded you are.

I should probably be a little higher but midtable sounds good to me. I'm fairly middle of the road on this. Israel definitely the villain in this conflict, but Palestine sometimes makes it hard to root for them.

The difference being, sending the troops in is how China treats her own people, when they have the temerity to gather in large numbers in public places.

and the British sending troops in is how the UK treat other people.

Where shall we start, what about Kenya and the Mau Mau in the 50's, old but not long before we were born...google it mate, learn some history like you keep telling me, see how well we treated people. We're a ****ing disgrace some of the stuff we've done, and you have the audacity to point fingers at China.

We are one of the most surveillanced countries in the world now, more and more legal stuff around protests, people thrown in prison for protesting on bridges, where the only harm is to themselves, You need to look a bit closer to home Archers before throwing stones.

    https://www.theguardian.com/environ...otesters-jailed-for-dartford-crossing-protest

Trowland was sentenced to three years in prison, while Decker received two years and seven months. Spokespeople from the activist group said these were the longest sentences for peaceful climate protest in British history.

I know you hate the americans but previous to trump the UK loved america and they basically have their own tianamen but it just gets lost because they are our allies.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings

Not to the same scale but i guess they actually have it on mass scale if you include their trigger happy police force :p
