Surely with Kia Joorabachin talking to people in the A. C. Milan boardroom, he is breaking rules layed down not only by U.E.F.A. but also that by F.I.F.A., that aplyer under contract with more than 6 months left on his contract cannot be intalks with any other club with out the consent of the club he is contracted to. Therefore Carlos is in serious breach of the rule.

So if A.C. Milan what Carlos that badly they will have to come up with the fee with which the club have put on his head i.e. £50m. I do hope that the club stand firm on this matter, otherwise we might just have another player trying this same thing on in the future.

However should Carlos want this move should the club hold out for the £50m they have put on his head, or should the club except the £25m that A.C. Milan have reportedly said they are willing to pay. As some papers have said that RM is not interrested in any player from A.C. Milan to make up the transfer to the £50m.

So should RM tell the board to hold out for the £50m or except the £25m and so get rid of the trouble maker

I'd take the 25m. Gets him off the wages and boosts the coffers a tad for when the whole FFP rules come in. The way i see it is we can make a 40mil loss this year. Over that starts to cause issues and means we need to try and make a profit next year. Assuming i've understood the way the FFP rules work (which i may have got a tad wrong) I also think there must be a couple of players from AC who interest us? Pato, Silva, or even a youth player or 2.

I expect more player swap deals will be put on the table before the transfer window opens, a swap for a world class striker could be better than asking a club to pay over £40 million.

AC Milan say a January deal for Carlos Tevez must be a loan, but Manchester City will only consider a permanent transfer, BBC Sport understands.

City have had no contact yet from AC Milan but the Italian club's chief executive Adriano Galliani said: "Tevez? Let's see. There is time.

"Whoever arrives in January will be on loan with the right to buy."

Milan need a forward as Antonio Cassano has been ruled out for the season after heart surgery.

Galliani added: "If it wasn't for the problem with Cassano, we would have stuck with what we had, but we only want to sign players on loan in the January transfer window."

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti also responded "let's see" when asked whether his club was interested in Tevez.

doesnt this go against tevez' story that he wants to go back to argentina? a fine player on his day but i'd give him 2 seasons in milan before he ups sticks and inflicts himself upon another club on the advice of his 'agent'.

i dont see why city should take the hit and let him go out on loan when he's disrespected the club who pay him hundreds of thousands every week despite him being AWOL.

that said, i like the look of ac milans team on fifa if they get him, they'll have robinho, cassano, ibrahimovic, pato and now tevez!

The sooner Carlos goses the better. If the reports in the papers are to be belived, A.C. Milan want carlos on loan but they are unwilling to pay a loan fee for him. If that is the case then the club should get it in writing that after the initial loan agreement they will buy carlos for a fee of £50m. If they don't agree to this then we should insist on a loan payment of at least £10m., otherwise there will be no deal at all.

A.C. Milan are looking to get Carlos on the cheap. That is why they are insisting on there being no loan fee paid for Carlos. So if Carlos wants to go to Milan either he, his agent, or A.C. Milan have to stump up the loan fee otherwise there will be no deal done until it is paid. Just hope the board stick to their guns and hold out and do not let Carlos get away with what he is doing.

Italians are awful with loans, even if the player plays awesome for the club, they will never purchase them, it's so they don't have to pay all his wages and get a decent player. Look at Aqulani with us.

    PSG hijack Milan’s Tevez deal?

Reports are indicating that Paris Saint-Germain are planning to hijack Milan’s move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The player has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri after Vice-President Adriano Galliani met with his representative Kia Joorabchian on Monday evening, whilst it is also understood that the current Serie A champions have also sent off a formal proposal to the English side.

However, it is thought that the Qatari-owned French club, who are coached by former Rossonero Leonardo, are ready to come in with a stronger offer. Where Milan are after a six-month, low-cost loan followed by a rumoured €20m fee to secure the player on a full-time basis next summer, PSG are apparently ready with an immediate €25-30m offer to take Tevez permanently in January.

Tamin Al-Thani, who heads the Qatar Investment Authority that own PSG, is a cousin of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed.

MILAN (AP) -AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani says he will meet with Manchester City on Thursday to discuss signing striker Carlos Tevez.

Milan wants to take the troubled forward on a loan deal with a view to a permanent move in the summer while City would prefer to sell Tevez outright during the January transfer window.

In comments reported by Italian news agency ANSA, Galliani says, "it's true I'm meeting them Thursday, but I don't think the deal will be concluded that day.''

Milan leaves for Dubai for its winter training camp on Dec. 29 and Galliani admits it will be "almost impossible'' for Tevez to join the rest of the Rossoneri.

Tevez has not played for City since he refused to warm up during a Champions League game against Bayern Munich in September.

You guys have to expect this kind of difficulty in offloading players when you're paying them such huge wages. As for having to pay him, despite his behaviour, the only recourse would be to go to court. Incidentally, was the transfer fee you paid to Media Sports Investments ever disclosed?

AC Milan have declared their meeting with Manchester City over a deal for Carlos Tevez a success.

Officials from both clubs met on Thursday to try and reach an agreement over a move for the unsettled Argentine during the January transfer window.

City are willing to sell Tevez after his infamous fall out with manager Roberto Mancini following his alleged refusal to warm up in their UEFA Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich in September.

The Rossoneri, meanwhile, are believed to have wanted to sign Tevez on loan in January until the end of the Serie A season with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer.

Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida believes progress is being made on the deal and he confirmed talks are ongoing between all parties.

"I have nothing to declare for now," Braida told Corriere dello Sport.

"We remain in contact. I'm not a magician though so I don't know how things will end up. Nevertheless, everything is good, everything is normal...

    "The meeting went well."

Both sides are expected to meet again in the next week to try and thrash out a deal to see Tevez make the switch to the San Siro.
