Yeah it will be insane, hopefully it happens at home. The club themselves should absolutely not celebrate it though.
You are correct, we are complete opposite sides of that. I don’t want to make a new record but I would hate everyone to lose their **** cause we got 12 points. It’s like being happy that you got bird **** on your shoulder instead of your head, I guess that’s ideal but also…it’s still **** and it should be treated as ****. I know it’s wrong but I don’t want these players feeling like they’ve acheived something after the hell this season has been.
Well I doubt any professional will feel like they've achieved something by merely getting 12 points. Would likely be relief more than anything I'd have thought. I kind of understand where you're coming from but how far do you take it? Football is a form of entertainment ultimately and you have to take some joy out of it or what's the point. That's especially true during the bad times imo. Like if we get a last minute equaliser tomorrow night should we not celebrate it? Were we wrong to go absolutely potty when we got a late winner at Ipswich because it meant nothing in the grand scheme of things and the players don't deserve the joy? I'll be celebrating like mad if we break the 12 point barrier personally as it'll by far be the highlight of the season. Ideally it will come in the last minute at the King Power and confirm Leicester's relegation.
I definitely get that point and I’m never going to say to not be happy about winning but I don’t think beating the record itself as a separate entity should be celebrated, if it was December/January and Juric turned things around then sure but it’s at the point where it really shouldn’t be considered funny or a positive and should be a serious indication as to how bad this club has become. I could get behind sarcastic cheers and applause but are we going to become the club now that pitch invades play off matches and cheers about beating what is objectively the worst record in PL existence? It’s embarrassing behaviour. I would like the club to start getting some self-respect back. It should be a sigh of massive relief and some serious questions asked, not a cause to go potty.
By beating Derby's record, do we mean taking the record off them? Maybe we should celebrate that, if we achieve it.
At least Leicester fans hate Derby. They might even cheer for us when we visit the King Power. That game is ever increasingly looking like our only chance.
That game is the only chance. We couldn’t even breakdown a terrible Chelsea side who were ****ting themselves with fans who were ready to pounce on their team. Somehow we ended that came with them looking very comfortable and their fans clapping them. However I also have very little faith in beating a team who battered us twice last season.

Indeed One win and we ought to be able to just avoid all of them … but then again where’s the win going to come from?
I can see us coming close to derby on GD. One 9-0 and then a few lucky 0-1 or 0-2 defeats and we’re there. incredible, a 1-0 loss seems like a good result against anyone now
Graph stolen from https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cjevk7pjg53o Bottom 3 on course to be the worst ever bottom 3, and that's after last seasons bottom 3 took that title.
Wolves, Palace and Fulham are at best shots at a win at home. West Ham and Leicester are out best shots for a win away. Win any of those or draw three and we don't get a record that we don't need. We already got the nine-nil - that's enough humiliation for fate to deign any team with. Oh, and a few ref decisions going our way would make a nice change!
I feel like a fluke win (much like our other 2 wins) is most likely. Not sure we can get a positive result in 3 games!
Yeah I agree. Saturday is actually a decent chance with Cunha out and then probably feeling basically safe.
IF Juric sets up the team like last time and we can play as well as we did in the first half then I think that we will get another win before the season ends.It would not surprise me in the least if he goes back to his barking mad team selections though.
