Sunderland fans saying they were tired after the Leeds game efforts , like we might be after yesterday ( hopefully Cardiff are) . I think Selles will rotate a few to compensate for lack of game time such as Lincoln etc he's done a great job of getting Alzate up to full duration match fitness .
Should certainly push for a win , but a draw and 4 points from 2 away games would be a fantastic return . Let’s not fall into that trap we always do of thinking 1 good win suddenly makes us world beaters about to win 5 on the spin .
good points its why i'd be happy with a point, yes a win would be incredible, but a point would be great, it also stops them obviously getting 3 points id only really be disappointed with a point is if they score a 90th min equaliser or something
Not sure how fit Lincoln is but he didn't play much more than half the match. If he's fit enough I'd start him then change later on with Kamara or Amrabat to come on.
I can see one or two changes, probably Lincoln in for Barrie, and maybe Egan in for Hughes as 2 games in 3 days after injury is maybe pushing it. Possibly Pedro up from instead of Joseph, but would be happy with either.
Correct. Have we ever won a match fresh from a warm-weather training winter break or International weekend? Doesn't feel like it. Any stattos fancy taking it on?
I think Pedro and Joseph have rotated in every game since the latter has been here. It's always been Pedro at home and Joseph away. That could be coincidence or deliberate. We've not had two consecutive home games or away games until now. So it'll be interesting to see whether we rotate Pedro back in again or if it's Joseph again because he's the "away" striker.
Cardiff City will be without midfielder Dimitrios Goutas for Tuesday night's crunch meeting with Hull City at the Cardiff City Stadium after his red card at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, while goalkeeper Jak Alnwick could be sidelined with a hamstring problem picked up in stoppage time.
The fixtures are working out kindly for us at the moment. Cardiff coming off the back of playing a huge game with 10 men for half of it three days prior, followed by Plymouth who will be coming off the back of a very difficult cup tie whilst we have a full week's rest. Hope we take full advantage and run them both ragged.
Hope Hughes is fit enough to start again. Defence looked miles better with him in it. Jones seems at his best with him too. Egan I'm not sure about at all. Looks really uncomfortable on the football. I'd rather play Burns.
Supposed to be back in training and was thought to be close to being fit enough to be in last Saturday’s squad.
