We need to just go for it Wednesday and at very worst come out of thst game with 11 points gap protected (arsenal might draw for example) The league cup is a zero issue go for it game against a physical but seriously deficient opponent who are held back by a small club mentality at managerial level. The cl is a big game but we have a week break due to fa cup and just Southampton at home to play between. By the time we play the league cup final i hope A) 11 point gap is intact B) we are in the cl qf and looking forward to April. C) most of our players are telling their international managers to go do one. Remember England play lativa and Albania in world cup qualifiers. The players need to be smart her and work with their coaches to get a game off during thst break. Holland play Spain in a stupid nations league semi final. Absolutely pointless exercise but we can fully expect all 3 of our Dutch plauers to play 180mins.
