Even taking into account, generally Skybet odds are somewhat skinny to say the least, they were 20's when I looked not long after your post. 365 were 33's. It was 24.0 on smarkets when it was withdrawn. It will be intersting to see what price it is Friday.

    VIP SATURDAY

6 second places yesterday - irony is if KOURUSH wins we end in a nice profit but went down by half a length at an SP of 16/1. We then had POTORO go 1/16 in running to end the day with sixth second of the day which is tragic more than anything.

Hopefully some winners today - lots of racing on with 6 cards across the UK and Ireland - £50 NAP comp is active - last entry is 2pm - please post your entries if keen in the chat here - https://t.me/c/2206192030/1

DAY ONE and TWO guides are posted for Cheltenham - if you have read them and would like a chance to win FREE LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP please send me a quick message quoting ‘GUIDE’ @ukracingtips - thanks very much will only take 2 mins!!!

    CHEPSTOW:

    2.00 - ROYAL JEWEL 2/1 - 1 point win

    2.32 - MAXIMILLIAN 9/2 - 1 point win (saver CLASSIC CONCORDE 33/1 - 0.25 EW for these savers)

    3.44 - ZAMBEZI FIX 4/1 - 1 point win

ROYAL JEWEL bunny hopped the second last fence at Chepstow when he and CABHFUILFUNGI pulled 20 lengths ahead of the well rated (126) BOOSTERBOB. Even with a fine leap to recover at the last fence the win looked unlikely but he fought back to get up in a very gritty and determined battle between the two. Has to deal with a penalty for that run but looks capable of more in a winnable race with KING ARISE making the obvious forecast choice.

After winning G2 at Doncaster and following up with a second place in the Grade 1 at Aintree MAXIMILLIAN is back after a long break. He’s running of top weight and is definitely the best horse her based on achievements so far. He’s been off 700 days nearly so that’s the genuine concern. Hopefully Mccain has him ready - yard is performing ok at the moment but this has to be one his stable stars in fairness.

I’m having a small saver on CLASSIC CONCORDE who is the rank outsider today but did win this race last year. I have no inside info on this 12 year old horse but have followed him for a good few years. Since winning this last year he’s been last, pulled up, and all round useless. He’s still 4lbs up on his mark since winning this last year but was going quite well before a mistake at FFOS LAS and pulled up. Big ask but you would assume this has been the target all along for this horse and yard. Since coming over from Ireland ZAMBEZI FIX has won 3 times in the UK - all 3 wins came over distance and off marks of 120+…

Mark is now at 116… Was well backed and ran well last time out at Warwick. Always tends to run well here for some reason and mark is very attractive. Price is good value as well.

    KEMPTON:

One of the members has asked me to do the card here today - it’s a good card with 3 Grade 2 races. I’ve done most of the races but only fancies these really and left the bumper and 2.25 out.

ASHDALE BOB brings very strong form into this race but most importantly is proven at the trip. Fav RUBUAD looks quite short considering he’s never been over 2 miles before but is the class act in the field and very short for this G2 at 6/5 with all considered. I’m happy to try ASHDALE BOB at 5/1 with a small win bet (no point doing EW only 2 paid)

MIAMI MAGICS form hasn’t worked out as well as it could have done but fact is he came second in a G1 last time out so is probably the rightful fav here at 6/5. TRIPOLI FLYER has found a new level of form this season and despite carrying a penalty looks the main danger to the fav. Fergal O Briens horse has an entry in the Supreme and a good run here will see price shortern. I have done a small saver on ROYSSE who has a lot of potential with a big engine but needs step up in class and sort his jumping out. This one fell for us 1/100 the other month but won nicely NTO. Ben Jones is back riding I would have close look at his and Nicos rides today as they both boast strike rates of nearly 30% at the track.

The 3.35 is a competitive premier handicap and LOWRYS BAR must win it from top weight. He was second in the G2 recently behind JINGKO BLUE but might of won that if not for hitting the 3rd fence from home.
Hasn’t ran at this track which is a slight concern but looks a fair price and another that will shorten for his Cheltenham entries if he goes well today. EW Chance at 7/1.

Few questions that BAD needs to answer at the top of the market, lots of potential but finds ways to flop (Ben Jone is on again they fell LTO) - I prefer the value with ETALON who was 3rd at this class at Sandown at the start of the month. Beaten by GUNSIGHT RIDGE who is 147 rated horse and better than most in this line up. Very close finish for ETALON in that race - runs of the same mark but she’s 9/1 today instead of 2/1…

    1.15 - SAINT ANAPOLINO 9/2 (saver MALATIA 9/1)

    1.50 - ASHDALE BOB 5/1 - 0.5 win

    3.00 - TRIPOLI FLYER 3/1 - 1 point win (saver ROYSSE 10/1)

    3.35 - LOWRYS BAR 7/1 - 0.5 EW

    4.10 - ETALON 8/1 - 0.5 EW

    TOTAL POINTS - 6.25 with savers !

I’ve never placed a bet in my life but I want to put a bet on the 2025 Xmas number one. It’s obviously a very long shot. Ive been into the local William Hill and they won’t take any bets until nearer the time, which negates the long odds I’d be expecting right now. Any suggestions as to who might take the bet?

I have never bet on that market. At a guess, the beginning of December when all the Christmas singles are released. Or maybe have a look monthly? Sorry that's the best I can suggest
