What makes the goal an own goal rather than Gelhardt's? Is there something about a corner not counting as a shot unless it goes directly in?
Thats completely irrelevant to my point About you Always criticizing the city of hull And hull city fans Thats 70% of your posts on here i bet
In my opinion it is, compared to the 2/3 clubs local to me anyway. For the size of club we moan very loudly, and target individuals more.
Couldn't see the flag due to being up in the gods and to slope of the roof for their disallowed one. If you'd ever been at the top of that stand you'd know. Kinda have to duck under to see the touchline. It's a long, long way from the pitch up there.
This season I've been to Scunny, Grimsby, Gainsborough, Winterton, Bottesford and Brigg Town - they all moan when things aren't going right, they target individuals; we're no better or worse than any other team for it.
You think our fans are great? Never have been nearly all the time I have been. Fickle. And Hull doesn’t do itself any favours. Though it is not as bad as Middlesbrough.
I live right in the middle of Newcastle, Sunderland and Gateshead, have done for years and yes there's criticism when things aren't going well but they don't make up self defeating conspiracy theories or target their own players to the degree ours do. They actually want their club to succeed, where ours often just want to be the first to predict gloom and say I told you so when it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It's a far more transactional relationship between club and supporters in Hull certainly than the north east.
Someone once posted a cutting from the a national paper’s sports pages from back in the early 1950s where the headline was “Hull City fans- the ones who put the Boo into Boothferry.”
don't know if this photo caption from hdm was baz or a minion, but it's not accurate "Regis Le Bris saw his Sunderland team lose their 100 per cent home record against the Tigers" yeah, we stuffed them so hard that their previous 6 home draws turned into wins! https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...rustrated-sunderland-boss-reveals-key-9964846
Deserving of more than just a like. Showing up the muppet comments again; some of those are quite frankly embarrassing ..... he says double checking none of them were mine (they weren't by the way).
Obviously thinks unbeaten means the same as 100%. No wonder the Reach group is struggling with the standard of their so called journalists.
Ayez and the isodor one only came after 2 city players gave the ball away within about 5 seconds of each other.....utterly avoidable!
A lot of criticism at the time but I don't believe based on xenophobia, more based on recent history with signings from turkey being prob more miss than hit, the Sinik one is really hurting this perception as a constant reminder.
All goals/chances are a result of mistakes to a greater or lesser degree. Recall they had 3 headers. Ballard and Jobe ones were more difficult than the Isodor one which really should have been a goal.
You say that, but we've seen players signed who have had spells in Super lig dismissed as Turkish players if they're crap whether they signed directly from Turkiye or not, but the ones like Seri who are successful don't have the Turkish signing label attached, even though they have as much a connection with Turkiye as some of the others. I'd say it was laziness as opposed to malignant xenophobia, but these generalisations do at least rely on some negative connotation.
Headlines are usually an editorial decision. And yeah, Reach are shamelessly clickbaity. They also re use the same ones over and over across all of their outlets.
