Not sure its possible to see any evidence until the end of the Season
He’s more hands-on now, he’s appointed the new guy, but he’s stuck with the same team and manager until then, so what can he do now?

Great post, that’s 4 of you on here now that have restored a little bit of my faith in this forum, and I know there are more, they’re just keeping out of it now

They may have appointed him but how long did he stay for. That’s a danger sign for me in the first place.
There are also three teams in this group that SR own. I don’t think any are doing particularly well. How much attention and finance will be taken away from Saints due to them having to look after the other teams?
Does Rohl have any allegiances to us and why would he come?

We’re fans, what the **** can we do? Nothing.

But if you want my suggestion.. they need to go before they do any more damage. Their position should be made untenable by the fans as soon as possible.

I don’t have the power to do anything though which is why I’m talking about it on a forum.

What I do know is, the gullible fans that accept this **** without complaint are in many ways culpable. The owners are being given far too easy a ride

Haven't you been asking fans to do something? Why if we can do nothing?

Seems to me like we've got too many fans who shout about wanting others to be less passive or whatever but not actually attempt to organise anything.

Moaning on the internet isn't doing anything either btw.

How have you not seen evidence of that? He’s literally come out and publicly announced that he was completely pissed off with what has been happening, so was taking a more hands on position, got rid of the people who were in charge and appointed someone new. I mean, I don’t know what more evidence you need!?

I don’t see anyone who accepts it without having any complaints? It’s just that there’s a few of us willing to look longer term, understand it might not actually be all that easy, and look at what is actually being done.

Sure, we may be wrong, we may be naive. But I’d rather be that way than Chicken Licken every five minutes.

I take your point about Wilcox but I'm not sure he would have gone for anyone else (or very few at least). Doesn't take away the fact that the appointment in the first place was a decent one. I would think that the fact that one of the biggest clubs in the world came looking was the main draw for him. Ironically though, those responsible for that appointment may now be gone!

I am not yet fully in the 'SR Out' camp but I am extremely close. As I have mentioned before, this summer will determine that for me and they need to be decisive and act early. If the reports are true, Danny Rohl was up for the move but compensation got in the way. He knows the club and has reportedly worked with our new DoF so if that is the case I can see it being an atractive proposition for him. Only, though, if the club support him financially in the summer and don't piss about waiting for the compensation amount to reduce.

Most important for me though is, whoever the new man is, we need him in straight after the last game of the season and he needs to work with Spors to massively improve the squad.

Well done Captain Obvious. I wasn't actually expecting you to go and do anything. It's a hypothetical discussion, just like when someone puts their preferred team choice up on the matchday thread.

He’s shuffled some seats, I will believe he’s learned from his mistakes when we see an upturn in results and our fortunes.

Juric was another crap replacement just like jones and Selles. We didn’t buy a goal scorer, again, and haven’t adequately recruited in CDM, again.

I’m not going to wet myself with excitement because he’s appointed a director, I need to see some evidence of this decision having a positive effect before I say he’s learned from his mistakes.

Now he can do nothing until the end of the season. His chance to do something was when we got rid of RM (too late, inappropriate mid season replacement) and the January window (loan slot not used, no CB or DM brought in).

Maybe sometimes, but all 3 played at home this weekend and all 3 conceded 4 goals. All 3 will get relegated.

It's who about who is going to react and be best prepared come August.

If we don't believe that we have a reasonable chance then we should start to worry. But then and not now.

I just hope we can improve, pick up some more points and get a bit of pride back for this season.

Right on the money! It’s the reason I go as often as possible. Yes, fed up again and again but I still want to be there at SMS when we finally get our first win at SMS in 2025. I’m in a decreasing minority to think Juric can get this outcome and hope that with a better set up defensively, couldn’t be worse, than the last two games(!), it might get us 3 points at some stage!!!! Hopeless lost cause of being a Saints fan I’m afraid.

Well no. Learning from mistakes is making the changes. Whether those changes work is in the lap of the Gods, but all the signs are that going by experience, Spors is a good appointment. So he has learned from his mistakes, we're just yet to see if he's found the solution.

You're mistaken, that was Real Madrid whose No 9 is MBapdelap.
