You are correct to a degree but the use of 'absolutely' isn't IMHO ... plenty of Palestinians been detained without charges ... and many claims of people being lifted for no apparent reason or for resisting being forcibly evicted to make way for illegal settlement expansion ...
I literally wrote this in my post so not sure what you're adding. Either way this doesn't change the fact that not a single Israeli hostage was responsible for the mass murder of scores of innocent civilians. Many of them were among the most pro-Palestinian people in the whole country. Countless Palestinian prisoners being released were among the most hardened criminals in Israel's history. So in summary: drawing equivalence between the two groups is utter bollocks.
This kind of thinking is the issue imo Feels like point scoring Hamas leaders might be sat at home thinking ‘we release 60, you release 600, so what you are saying is 1 of you is worth a 100 of us’ both parties can find reasons to think their fight is more justified. No. You are wrong The equivalence of humiliating prisoners / hostages is the same on both sides. That’s the point I was making. I’m also saying Netanyahu is a ****ing hypocrite for calling Hamas out for it and claiming it’s a breach of the ceasefire; when Israel are doing exactly the same And I am not discounting, that some of those Palestinian prisoners are hardened criminals and should never see the light of day again. But a huge majority of them are also people who’ve been locked up with no charges, no access to legal support, and in same cases with absolutely no reason whatsoever for their incarceration. You know this; but you are just trying to discount the humiliation meted out to Palestinian prisoners whilst claiming moral outrage when it happens to Israeli hostages. like Spurlock said; this shouldn’t be a points scoring exercise.
