Watford take an early lead against Luton. Zero points for Luton is a good result for us.

Luton look so poor. Too many players going through the motions - and this against a big local rival. Signings like Jones and Aasgaard don’t strike me as suitable for a relegation scrap.

    Now 2-0.

    did we miss the boat?
looking extremely likely for the second consecutive season, all 3 promoted clubs will be relegated
the gap is bigger than ever, you do feel 2016 was our chance to be a regular

Missed the boat season after the FAC final for me. Should have given SB the tools to establish us the following season. Enob not interested at that point and we seemed to have a season long cup final hangover

Not sure the signings were deficient. We signed Maguire, Dawson and Robertson in defence, Diame and Snodgrass in midfield, Hernandez up front. We were unlucky that Snodgrass was cropped immediately. I do agree we had a hangover in that season - for me the feeble attempts in the UEFA Cup were also partly responsible for draining confidence.

Mark Hughes has recently been appointed Head coach there.
    An unlikely partnership.

That's the premier league sorted. Incredible how the fear factor and ability of a team can drop off a cliff in such an incredible way.

One of the times I agree with you. Would love to see Forest and Bournemouth get 3rd and 4th spots. Loved Forest fans at Elland Road singing “ Champions of Europe - you’ll never sing that.” Though deluded Leeds fans have and even had a fanzine named WACCOE.

Tbf they should have been it was proven the ref took a bribe
And I’ve no problem with Leeds winning the European cup as they should have done

as most of us think it’s the hull whites I can’t stand
Same as in pub today full of hull young men in Liverpool shirts
    ****ers

Likewise, though I extend it to East Yorkshire Whites as well. Used to work somewhere they used to go on about Wessies this and Wessies that. Used to say to them you spend all week saying that and then travel 60 miles and spend a load of money to sit amongst thousands of them
Pub full when Liverpool, or Man Utd are playing disprove the rugby town nonsense.
They aren’t full when Wigan or St Helens are playing.Far more in for football tournaments than RL ones. Trouble is so many of the football fans don’t support their local team. And even worse support one of the RL teams where they are big fish in a puddle and adopt another football club.
