England 533 ahead at the end of day 2! Hat-trick from Atkinson and Root making his 100th 50 in Tests (and poised to get his 36th 100)
Looking at the 3rd test performance it's a very " let's get this over and get the plane home for Christmas " feel to it
Agreed. Dreadful batting performance, but if they manage to restrict NZ to say 250, then you wouldn't bet against this lot chasing 450 with 4 sessions or so left.
For some reason this came to mind .. Medvedev destroys net camera in five-set thriller - https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/videos/c626ld3qe 42o
And the rules allowed it.... swapping a batsman who allegedly has concussion with a seam bowler - when they have another batsman available as a like for like replacement. And the additional bowler just goes and wins the match for them. Nah... nothing to see here! Having said that, England should still have won....
It leaves a sour taste, but England only have themselves to blame - not capitalising on Mahmood’s three early wickets - losing three quick wickets after being 62-0 after 6 - Brook getting out having reached 50 when he was on top of the Indian bowlers - Overton refusing singles when Rashid is a handy batsman and had just hit a six, then blocking and then getting out
Note to self: don't mention rugby to my mother for the next eight months Also look into patenting valium for cats...
Watching the rugby and wondering why the coaches in football don't follow the lead and take positions in a box with better views and access to video etc.? Would also eliminate aggressive confrontation in the touchline.

Because if they did, I have no doubt fans would be questioning their commitment. Some already complain that Ange does not show enough passion.
Worth it just to see how long before Paelladyce still manages to stomp onto the touchline with no referees immediately slapping him with a yellow and telling him to sit his ass back down
