Nest 2 league games are nasty - Forest home then Liverpool away.

Next 5 much better - West Ham away, Brentford home, Leicester away, Man U home and Palace home.

Then a mix for the final 6 games, next 2 games are a thing we need to get over regardless of the results.

4 points from the 2 games would set us up very nicely.

9 points from the following 5 would be ideal but I suspect it may be 7.

That return of 11 points from 7 games.

I would be astonished with 4 points from the next 2 tbh, we can win against Forest, but I don't see anything against Liverpool. Liverpool played their worst game of the season against Man U, and Man U played there best, and Liverpool still got a draw...it IS Man U though.

Forest is mega tough unless we can shackle Wood like we did in the away game, we also had the option to bring on Barnes then as well to change things.

3 points from those games I'm very happy with tbh, even 1 is not terrible considering how those sides a playing.

This acceptance of defeat means you've already been defeated

Got to be a massive reaction from the lads - hopefully Joelinton and Botman are back soon, those two will be massive for the run in. Livarmento has to be back in the starting XI also unless there's a fitness issue they are keeping quiet.

Do think a few of the players could be playing with their foot off the gas currently, bit like the Bournemouth and Fulham games before the Arsenal semi final...

There’s a chance but that’s then up to the management to get them motivated for that situation.

You could argue that’s a mindset thing and strength of character of the players. Which is reason why we can’t always buy “nice characters” that “fit in” because you need the strong players to give it to the others when it’s going wrong.

For example when we conceded the goals against City I didn’t see many angry conversations between players. It was more of an acceptance of defeat.

Us to get back to winning ways. 2-1 Isak and Gordon, bit of a scare early on, but we see the game out.

We know that if we have to stop Wood to win.

But they know that we know we have to stop Wood to win, after the way we played away to them. So they're gonna do more than just be centred on Wood.

If we win this we're right in it, only 3 points behind them, but if they win they open up a 9 point gap, and hard to see us closing that.

I’d rather Longstaff today. They are physical and Willock doesn’t like physical.
