I forgot about the whole getting there and work thing. Seems really odd putting a 3rd round FA Cup game on on a Monday night. Thought the whole point was to try and get more people to go to games, not less.

Monster Ring up and ask if you could trial ESPN for 3 months, they will give you it for free! I had ESPN when I had my sky and it was miles better than Sky sports Football on it all the time! but I was on a 6 month trial and without warning after the 6 months they started charging me for it! So I cancelled sky altogether, nice little 70 quid a month extra in my back pocket.

Heyho, at least it increases my chances of getting a ticket & ensures some visiting Leeds fans won't get lost in Soho & such places prior to returning home. Jokes aside, how irritating to have a 3rd round cup match involving two teams at diametrically opposite ends of the country & 200 miles apart? At least the club can look forward to a few quid extra from TV revenue.

As this is a one off cup game, they'll expect plenty to travel and they won't really give a ****. It's the stupid league fixture list that really piss me off, they make both our games against you midweek night matches, the same with our game against Barnsley, all of which is fair enough, but then they make our home and away games against Southampton both midweek night matches too. What sort of a dipshit thought that was a good idea? And if they are going to make them midweek night matches, they could at least stick the bloody things on telly, even if it's on ESPN.
Consider it lucky you got a decent tie that'll be broadcasted all over the place and will generate money. You may get a replay from it like last time. We've got sodding Ipswich (no offence to Ipswich- but doubt either of us would want each other) At least it isn't Wigan like the last few seasons.
To be honest, this is good news for me since I can now go with my Arsenal mate who doesn't come back until the Sunday afternoon. And as much as I hate new-build stadiums, there's something about the Emirates at night time when it's packed to capacity that leaves you with a bit of a buzz. As I witnessed when they mauled Hull 3-0. But it's still disgraceful how the TV nazis **** with people's schedules like this. Be surprised if we take more than 6k.
