What a ****ing result! Once we grew into the game, we battled, pressed, thought the defence was well organised overall today, Pandur solid as always. Only stumble when Egan came on initially I thought. Hope Louie ok, we’ve had **** luck with injuries over the past 20 years.
What a day for football, City won, Manure ****e again, Celtic got beat - amazing! Hopefully now the mighty Gers win and that will be an incredible day for me!
Huzzah... (Bit late..) Was hoping to get to my daughters to watch it, though got caught in a closure of the M1, luckily Mrs Ron did additional commentary to the Sky Go... My view for much of the game above ... Huzzah...
Missed most of the game for reasons won’t go into. Can only say that is another fantastic result. Praise has to go to the players and management and the travelling supporters for getting yet another away win in our quest to slowly turning things around. Buzzing.. UTT.
Wow, just wow! That was a tasty game, outstanding performance, 3 points, and a slight clearance amongst the bottom end. Well deserved result, thought we were the better side. Brilliant from each man, no weak links, Gelhardt had a couple of fizzing corners, Matazo put himself about, got stuck in, and what a performance from Coyle, at his best again, a sterling Captain performance, particularly bearing the recent mental pressures he must have felt. The grit & determination from all to get over the line in 2nd half, there for all to see. Ruben certainly got his game plan spot on, along with his subs, Lincoln looks to be a good, promising addition. Sund’land not lost at home all season….until today, a first for everything, hopefully, we can continue and back this result up, with back to back results mid week. Buzzing, like the proverbial…..will be a good atmosphere on the returning away support coaches! Safe travel back to all. It’s a great feeling to get a good, massive result in early on Sat, makes the weekend more enjoyable. UTT.
It was mentioned in the RH commentary but how were we able to make subs on four separate occasions? The limit is supposed to be three, except for half time but none of them were then. Only reason I can think it was allowed is if one of them was a concussion sub?
I don't think today changed my opinion much. Thought he was good in midfield and got stuck in, but didn't drive the ball forward much. Which is fine, it's not necessarily his game. His passing was great though which is a credit to him, but thought Lincoln did much better with the ball at feet. Obviously was playing on the wing, but even so didn't think Matazo carried the ball too much from memory.
I think Selles made the argument that the Hughes sub was in the second slot with the double sub. He must’ve won the argument
Hughes somehow got injured while making subs and came off in the same stoppage of play. This made me wonder if Hughes really was injured or possibly planned to waste time but if that was the case it was risky in case the ref restarted
Legs to me is as much about breaking up the play as it is driving us forward. He was progressing us with his passing more than his drive and was covering every blade.
Wednesday got stuffed last night. We won today. Unfortunately can’t be a perfect weekend as the Blunts and TWS play each other on Monday s they can’t both lose.
