Update on wine night. I took it easy with it being a work day but many did not and there were a few people worse for it. Just after we left a woman fell over broke her hip was in so much pain she pissed herself and was throwing up. Ambulance turned up at 2.30 in the morning. That last glass of red was a ****er.
Or friends driving down from North Wales have a fully electric car, currently stuck in Newtown waiting for it to charge. Woke nonsense.
was thinking, which is rare. If your electric car runs out of electric on the motorway, do you walk to the next services to get a can of electric?
This nonsense was never thought through and it's one I blame Boris for, he could have changed course with this electric bolloxs, but nope, so **** any idiot that buys one.
Yeah when i went to the lake district with my family and my brothers mate he came rocking up in his electric BMW. we stayed in the west side and there was **** all charging points and everytime we went to one they were out of order. it took about 3 days for it to be fixed so he could move his car there to charge but he didn't use his car for the few days we were there as it had no charge (and the hotel had no points). Just to rub it in it said it had 10 miles when he left it but by the time he started it up to move it had dropped to like 3 miles
An electric car would really suit me my only problem with them is they tend to be a bit higher than equivalent petrol cars due to the batteries .
Why do you think it would suit you better, if you don't mind me asking - and is there not a mobility scheme that does them, as I don't really know how this stuff works?
no gear lever so less things to snag on the chair as i put it on the passenger seat ( obviously i stick it on the back seats if i have a passenger ) no ****ing around at petrol stations so one less transfer in and out of car plus nearly all my journeys are very short , less than 3 miles each way ios the norm , which isn't great for a combustion engine edit : yes you can get them on the Motability scheme , some of which are good deals , but i've always bought my own cars and kept them for years the present one being nearly 15 years old .part of which is because i don't have to pay VAT on the car as it has to be adapted by installing hand controls .
are the Welsh still bothered about Rugby as their domestic game is in a woeful state for years now and the national team has joined the malaise .
So driving about with my friend trying to find a charge point, 1st wasn't working, 2nd is not compatible so now off to a 3rd.
