Would be class like. Not sure they will risk him from the off. That said, he has had another full week of training.
Broken down tipper on the A19 northbound just before the Doxy junction for anyone travelling up early.
Don’t get me wrong I’m terrified his hammy goes ping again too just the thought of him fully fit and flying makes me warm inside
Yeah it's definitely needed like. Should get mins today regardless. Cirkin needs it too. ELF really hasn't been helping him out.
This! RLB did say he was ready. I'd start him, give him some time and see how we go....can change it later.
If Mundle has been declared fit, is in the squad and RLB wants him to start, he should start … … we can’t avoid playing anyone returning just in case they pick up an injury. Mundle could be injured just as easily in the 90th minute as the 1st … … besides Watson’s available next week so hoy Mundle in and let him take his chances
Mundle is our pit stop, it’s time to take advantage of the change of tyres and get our foot on the accelerator. Seeing him in the starting lineup should get the stadium jumping and hopefully start the bit of momentum every team needs going into the playoffs / auto’s race. hawayyy the feckin lads !
I agree with all that. If he starts, it’s a boost, and he can come off at any time. If he comes on, in the second half, and has to go off that would be a downer. No doubt RLB knows exactly what he has in mind … … so this is all pure speculation.
Suns out (not hot like) shades on, a couple of shandy's in the Hilton, the cuddlies win and a few ales will be slurped with great joy. PS, the ales will be slurped with great joy regardless. Engine room and then the Peacock after. Hopefully live music.
If Mundle starts it means Le Fee in the middle. what happens when Mundle is substituted after about 60 minutes? Mayenda on the LW. If Mundle doesn’t start will Le Fee be on the LW until he (Mundle) comes on. Will Le Fee be knackered by that time. Be interesting how RLB handles this.
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...ands-decision-liverpool-striker-jayden-danns/ JAYDEN DANNS has been spending time with the Sunderland squad despite still being unable to return to training, and was at Elland Road on Monday watching the Black Cats’ Championship defeat to Leeds United. Danns joined Sunderland on loan from Liverpool on deadline day, but his medical revealed a back problem that meant he immediately returned to his parent club for treatment. The teenage striker continues to undergo his rehabilitation at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground, but has been making regular trips to Wearside to get to know his new Sunderland team-mates and coaches…. Le Bris thinks it is important the 19-year-old starts to feel comfortable as a Sunderland player, so that when he recovers full fitness, he will be able to hit the ground running. “We are trying to build a connection with Jayden and the team,” said the Black Cats boss. “Of course, it is not easy while he is injured, and we don't know how long (before he returns), so we try to keep the connection and then we will see, maybe in one month he will be available. We have to see. “I’ve spoken with him, absolutely. He is having his treatment at Liverpool, but we are doing what we can to build that connection for when he is ready.” While Danns joined Sunderland on deadline-day in January, Jewison Bennette’s proposed loan move to Charlton Athletic fell through. The Black Cats had hoped to engineer a loan move for the winger to one of the countries with a later transfer deadline than the UK, but their efforts have so far proved unsuccessful. As a result, Le Bris is considering what will be best for the Costa Rica international, who is currently not even playing with Sunderland’s Under-21s team. “We were expecting Jewison to find a loan, but in the end, it wasn’t possible for him to sign,” said the Sunderland boss. “So now we’ll have to see (what the next steps are).”
Fingers crossed for a home win. It should be but we are Sunderland. Hopefully mundle back and let's get behind the lads from the off and get into the buggers. Home win. Right dogs out and I'm off. Bloody hate 12.30 kick offs.
Having to miss this one as getting work done on the house today so need to be here so will be watching the game on Sky. Looks like it’s going to be a bumper crowd. Hope we get fully behind the lads on not get on the back of individual players when there’s an mis placed pass or a missed chance. I’m hoping for a nice convincing win today just to let Burnley and Sheffield know…..”we’re still here lads!, right behind you!”
It doesn’t just all click the moment pre-season stops. It’s alright for us to say in hindsight what would have worked and that stuff didn’t. RLB has enough credit in the bank for me to be able to try different things and work it out. He sees these players in training so will have much more idea of what will work than us. Match situation is then different and everyone is learning all the time.
