Can’t twist at this level when you’ve got Foster, Brownhill, Sarmiento, Shelvey and Benson to bring off the bench
O’nien has been really good this season, surprised me a bit but as mentioned above we do have 2 better CB’s than him. He still has his flaws defensively and I don’t agree with the whole “he’s good at passing out from the back” argument. Plenty of CB’s out there who can pass a ball whilst being a good defender too. I think Mepham playing sweeper compliments O’nien meaning he can almost be a bit riskier and push further up the pitch knowing he has a solid CB covering him but if we were to play Mepham and Ballard I don’t think anyone would argue we’d be a worse team.
Hladky was Ipswichs number 1 as well. Aaron Ramsey (not that one) coming back soon as well who's a quality player at this level.
Sheff Wed are ****e at the back, I couldn’t believe Burnley were just worse than even money We go to Hillsborough next week…
Its 3-0 to Burnley mate. I know what side of that scoreline I would rather be. No ifs buts or maybes this is clear win.
It's absolutely relentless and really tedious. Loads of people say they just avoid the forum, if we don't win, so the moaners become the majority. Even when we win there are people saying we didn't win well enough and criticise individual players ... ... wtf is the matter with people who call themselves supporters. We're virtually guaranteed a 'three game route to the PL' and the criticism just never stops.
Leicester 0 brentford 4 now. Sorry to post this in the "09 is ****e thread", but wasn't sure where else to post it.
Since when did Cissoko leave Plymouth and go to Sheff Wed? Thought he looked a player when we went down to their place like
I didn't say it was, but you are laughing at folk who said sheff wed would give them a game. They did give them a game and got punished, that happens at times in football - doesn't mean folk were wrong to say they would give them a game Giving them a game doesn't mean they win the game
Ok. That's great. I thought Burnley would win comfortably tonight as Sheffield defence is crap. Comfortable win at home. Think it's now 4-0 to Burnley. Dosnt get easier really.
Another right winger in Manuel Benson matching Roberts' open play goal tally this season in just his 2nd appearance. Repetitive now but the lack of goal threat from him in particular is killing us.
