It's poor to be not top 2. We don't outscore the top 2 or defend better than them. The goal differences are wild given this stage of the season and I feel that shows it.

I would try to sort out defence. We concede too many. 09 would go for me. Get the best 2 centre backs starting.

Needs Sheff Utd to lose both games for me and a massive favour from Coventry, the most obvious banana skin

It is but we draw more than them all. Thats the exact point I am making. We have drawn many more than the top 2. So we need to pick a side. Because we ain't great defensive or class offensive. This is just to make up ground.

Not saying it's **** but that's why we are significantly behind the top 2

 

Sure sheff utd also have to play sheff wed, that could be a tricky one as well.

You do keep banging this drum and yet the one game they played together neither looked particularly comfortable.
Perhaps they need time to form a partnership, but do we have that time?

 

weve also scored late goals and conceded late goals, thats by the by but the two pens missed by Burnley are in a class of their own, both basically game winning pens, those extra 2 points and burnley getting zip would have been big. Really should have picked up an additional 2 points from watford/plymouth and thats the difference.
