Just giving their customers what they want init

I know Tommy has got his knickers in a twist about this, but loads of places including Sainsbury's, Tesco etc offer Kosher products in areas where there are large Jewish communities too

Get over it bro, you can still get a Hot Dog if you really want one.

Also with alcohol, seen several shops recently have an alcohol licence rejected or taken away, if it's in an area with high unsocial street concerns. So if the local youths are being a problem or your dad can't handle his beer, there licence is gone, good thing I think, I never buy from corner shops anyway.

Lol, it's just business though init. That particular branch of Five Guys is in an area with a large Muslim community so they are catering to their clientele

It's what businesses do bro. Like I said, loads of Supermarkets offer Kosher and Halal food in their stores

And you can probably go to hundreds of different fast food joints in Brum and get a Halal burger

This ain't new and you need to stop getting triggered by Tommy flag waving **** chops bro <laugh>

    Yeah <ok>

That's more of a sanction, and I get why. If it cuts down on anti social behaviour. Especially if 14 year olds are getting access to 4 packs of Stella etc.

The stuff sucky is crying about is laughable though, Halal and Kosher food is available right across Britain, even down here in sleepy Cornwall we've got ****in Halal kebab shops lol.

It really ain't an issue in any way shape or form

It's like getting upset coz a bakery is selling Pretzels, so it must be trying to Jewishize an area (is that even a word <laugh>)

    That what you see mate.

I see a business that used to sell bacon having to change the menu in certain stores to appease the Muslim clientele.

This would have come surely after costumer feedback.

Cos you know... instead of going somewhere else that don't sell bacon to eat they want five guys to change it's menus.

Another example of the caliphate coming:bandit:

Mate, you are paranoid af <laugh>

They didn't 'have' to change the menu, they've done it so that they will sell more products to their clientele in the area.

That's how businesses work, they meet their customers needs.

Unless they want bubblegum flavour ice cream, then they can **** off of course :bandit:

Sucky, I look at it that hospitality or take aways whatever, have to cater for their clientele. So take me for example, I don't eat any takeaways, so can't really complain if my local fish and chip shop closes down. I also like alcholic drink but I never buy it from an off licence or a corner shop, so I can't complain if they stop selling it. Same with if I want to eat a bacon sandwich, if there are no shops selling any, then there's nowt stopping me from opening a shop to sell them, but whether it;s a viable business to your area, would be decided by your bank balance...ie where your own stupidity led to you going bankrupt, because you catered for your tastes and not that of your customers (not calling you stupid btw, just a figure of speech).

Any decison like that mate I would have to look at from a business perspective, it's just how my mind thinks. I'm sure it's a customer based decision, so let me put that another way...

If I'm pescatarian and go to my local fish and chip shop to buy fish and chips, but find out they fry in beef dripping, I could refuse to use that shop in the future. Now that business has a decision to make, whether to please my taste or that of the other 99% of it's customers OR is there a possible althernative (use vegetable oil).

I've never used Five Guys, so no idea what's on their menu, but at the same time it means I can't comment, because I'm not a customer of them. But taking in my example a above, this is all FG's have done, made a business decision based on customer feedback.

I said they would. They've done it for other countries, they'll do it in Britain. Apple isn't the privacy device many people think it is... and it collects far more data on you than Android. Even when it's nominally turned off, it's still tracking you.

Wait, you can buy alcohol in five guys there? Do all fast food joints sell alcohol? Is there a McLarger?

*update weird... googled it and Five Guys sells alcohol in a lot of countries... including one (only one) of their locations in the US. Strange thinking of fast food places serving alcohol... there again alcohol is a lot cheaper over there, so probably not too out of place. Here the beer would cost more than the burger at most places.

I heard a bit on this earlier that I meant to come back on, and that is they still need a warrant to access your data. So they will have to prove that there is some type of crime being committed.
