Think we need to freshen things up in the wide areas. If Mundle is fit to start then he should start and i'd be looking at Mayenda on the right, maybe even Poveda.

    Patterson
    Hume Ballard O'Nien Cirkin
    ELF Neil Jobe
    Mayenda Isidor Mundle

Selles has improved Hull so this will be a tough game, they'll sit in defensively so the onus is on us to break them down.

    1-0. Mundle.

    Positive press conference

wants a reaction and said ‘if we play like we did against Leeds we will set the standard for the game, that is the focus’

Looks like being a bigger crowd than Luton.

Hull scored three against Leeds and Sheff Utd so they’re obviously better than their position suggests.

On the other hand they have three ‘ex-Sunderland players’ so nailed on not to score against us …

… no ex-player or Mag has all season <laugh>

    Excellent thread, as usual RTB.

Can't wait to get in to the ground on Saturday.

Three of the next four at home gives us a great chance to climb the table and secure our play off place. After a loss, this bunch of lads always seem to bounce straight back and I'm expecting them to do it in style on Saturday. First goal is crucial. Their comeback from 3-1 down against Leeds shows that we can't afford to take our foot off the gas when we do get in front.
Hoping RLB uses the bench well. He's got plenty of choice now.
A resounding 3-0 for me and closing the gap on the two sides above us.

Another belter RTB, thanks again !
Think it will be a scrappy game, just dig in and take the 3 points, steady performance and keep it tight, 2-0 to the lads.
I am dying to see Le Fee in the Rigg role but have a feeling he will play the same team.

To me that sounds like same team again baring injury. No problems there but lets hope that if things are not going to plan he knows how to change it, so far his record in that respect has been poor imo.

Cheers RTB, if there's a slither of a chance of top 2 this is a must win, especially with Sheff U v Leeds on Monday.

I'd be starting Mayenda here, think he's earned it. I'd bring him in for Rigg and play behind Isidor. Also wouldnt be opposed to Aleksic getting a chance. Everyone else deserves to retain their places imo.

Win would be great to get the Leeds winner out of the lads heads. Another clean sheet at home would be nice too, I've liked our defending the last couple of games, after a sloppy patch the last few weeks. I'll go for a hopeful 2-0 to the lads.

    Patterson
    Hume - Mepham - Ballard - Cirkin
    Neil - Bellingham
Mayenda - Le Fee - Mundle
    Isidor

That’s the team I’d go with.

O’Nien hasn’t done much wrong but I’d be keen to see Ballard and Mepham partnered together with two proper full backs either side.

Praying this thread doesn’t just get turned into another debate about O’Nien.
