yeah, theres been an executive order signed today that says basically Trump makes all the laws as he sees fit and that all branches report into him.

Will interesting seeing the courts strike it down but who will actually administer it though?

He is brave. The yanks offered to get him out of Ukraine on day one of the invasion, when the Russians were expected to arrive in Kiev within days; but he said “I don’t need a taxi, I need weapons”. Whatever you think of him, the guy has bollocks.

... and frankly, someone whose rich daddy aided his dodging of his own country's call to arms on 3 separate occasions has no mandate for dissing a guy that has stayed put throughout Putin's mindless aggression ...

It was the least he could do considering he was sending young men to the front line, I'd say it was more duty than brave - it's certainly how I would see it, if I'm sending someones kids to die, the very least I could do is hold safe in Kiev.

A nine year old kid was injured in Kiev in a recent strike, was she brave for being there of course not.

I'd even agree and say maybe he does have some bollocks, but that is not brave. I'll call him brave when he is fighting side by side with them same kids he has been sending to their deaths or he is missing an arm or a leg, like the thousands of other casualties. So far he's not even got a ****ing scratch on him.

Tbph it comes across as the glorification of war, and that's where all this **** starts, where people are above themselves and can reek havoc on a population and on the otherside of that coin, demand we fight for our freedoms!

Some good points made ... but when a **** like Donald Dick starts pointing the finger at others in terms of having balls in conflict, like he did to John McCain, it does get my blood boiling ... this is a guy that's had no trouble traipsing thousands of miles around the world's golf courses, but whose 'bone spurs' apparently inhibited him pulling on a pair of army boots... sure seems plausible ... blokes an uber **** of the first order ....

But Fosse, I'm not getting into the Trump argument, all I see is him triggering everyone, sit back from it and use more rationale I say. My only point was as I made, he's not brave, now we can agree to disagree on that, people have different interpretations, but my thoughts shouldn't be taken out of context because of what some moron says in America.

Biden and Europe were happy to chuck weapons and money at Ukraine, we're all becoming warmongers, and now we got a new dick in the house, who's obviously got other motives.

I didn't see a single person on here shouting about Mauripol when it was flattened, I mentioned it but it fell on deaf ears in the main, it seemed Palestine was more interesting then, but now the clown has opened his mouth, everyone is suddenly paying attention....it didn't matter when soldiers were getting wasted as human garbage, and yes I blame Biden for that and the rest of Europe, but Trump or something.

The one thing I can't get my head around though is Zelenskyys choice of tone over the last two days. It don't feel right, gut instinct saying this is all some ploy to fool Putin. I would have expected European leaders saying to the Ukraine leader, whoa hold on mate, let's think about these words - afterall does Europe and the UK want a solution or not, or do they want to keep chucking money and weapons at war. I'm not saying give Putin what he wants, what I'm saying is let's be a bit more astute about this.

Couple of voices in the media saying that he's deliberately triggered him, but I don't see it as that. I know what the stakes are, but if I were Ukrainian and I'd gone through what they have I'd want my president to push back an awful lot more than what is in effect "Er, if it pleases your wonderful majesticness, eminence, and holiness, I think perhaps you just may be getting your information from just one source that favours Putin".

I'm just imagining that had FDR lost the 1940 US election and Wendell Winkie* had come into office in Jan 1941. Imagine had he turned around and told Churchill he had agreed a deal with Hitler and blamed the UK for starting the war and that they had brought the Blitz on themselves by fighting off the Luftwaffe the previous summer. I think yeah, we probably would have had to sue for peace knowing our biggest funder had turned Nazi (though had the Germans invaded 20% of our island I'm not sure we would have unless the deal meant handing it back), but just imagine that the price was that the US got Canada and New Zealand, and the Krauts got Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa? I think I'd have wanted Churchill to tell them to **** off.

    * Wilkie was pro-British as well, btw, but I used this just as an analogy. Had Dewey won the the 1940 nomination and won though... well, history may have turned out as above.

This isn't WW2 though and I'm not sure why people keep making comparisons.

Russians and Ukranians lived alongside one another for over seven decades and would have lived together for another three decades, were it not for Gorbachev's dissolution in 1991.

It's like we are looking for a fight, but none of us will die. Sorry mate I just don't care for your history.

I remember in the run up to Brexit, people kept banging on about 'the war' yet I never ever mentioned it, nor felt like that, nor do I now.

Are we really learning the lessons of history I ask myself, or is this just a search for reasons to cause yet more bloodshed

If people really are as concerned as they make out, it will take just two bullets, one each to the head of Trump and Putin, until the next time.

I'm never going to agree with this war, not a single person needed to die, but people were more intent on being enraged rather than engaged in dialogue.

This is not Germany nor the Nazis, this is because the EU and NATO got too big for their boots and are now causing another Yugoslavia style massacre.

They got opportunistic and so Putin played them at their own game...as is that other nutter in White House right now.

    We are all to blame.

    Yeah, you definitely are.

I collected tampons for Ukraine though, so I'm partially responsible
