All the teams in the bottom 11 have scored between 30 and 35 goals so far this season except Portsmouth who have just crept past 40. That's approximately a goal a game for every team. All of these goals were scored by goalscorers. I think this solves most of the futile debates which gum up this forum on a daily basis.
To my mind they've had one very good win against Millwall and one lucky win against wba. It'll be a very interesting game against Luton tomorrow.
Well, when I said a few weeks ago that Plymouth aren't down yet, I was called a ****ing idiot, that there was no way they could grab the points back. I hate to say told ya so but...........
This is a good point. There’s constant talk about how many points we need or how many goals we need to score. But the reality is - we only need to do better than 3 other teams. The teams around us are also poor and will be having the same questions. We won’t get relegated just cos we’re crap. We’ll only get relegated if 3 other teams aren’t crapper.
You might want to hold off on that gloating until they actually stay up. But a few of us did already acknowledge they've surprised us.
so one of the biggest games of the remaining season that doesnt involve hull city tonight luton v plymouth 7.45pm
I genuinely would not be surprised if we are a top 6 team next season.. if we stay up Which is why relegation really would be a disaster and thats without any financial implications
